Prevalencia de enfermedad gingival en personas adultas del AA-HH Mamma Irene etapa I Iquitos - 2023

La presente investigación, tiene como objetivo determinar la prevalencia de la enfermedad gingival en las personas adultas del AA.HH MAMMA IRENE ETAPA I del distrito de san juan bautista. La investigación es cuantitativo, no experimental, transversales, descriptivos, no comparativos o correlacionales. la muestra estuvo conformada por 150 pacientes entre varones y mujeres en edades de 20 a 39 y 40 a 60 años respectivamente. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó el índice gingival de loe y silness. Las variables que se vio en este estudio fueron; edad, sexo, y la clasificación de la enfermedad gingival.
Para procesar los datos obtenidos se utilizó los programas SPSS, EXCELL y la estadística descriptiva. Según el proceso y análisis de los resultados se llegó a los siguientes resultados: el cuadro 1 muestra el 56.67% de las personas adultas evaluadas presentaron enfermedad gingival, el otro 43.33% no presentaron esta condición, por lo que se puede estimar que la PREVALENCIA de la enfermedad gingival en los pobladores del AA. HH MAMMA IRENE etapa I es 85 personas por cada 150 evaluados aproximadamente. El cuadro 2 presentó una mayor PREVALENCIA de la enfermedad gingival en personas cuyas edades oscilan entre 20 y 39 años representando este un 32.7%, a comparación del 24% de las personas cuyas edades están entre 40 y 60 años, porcentualmente menor a la anterior. El cuadro 3, Se observo una mayor prevalencia en el sexo femenino siendo este un 32.67% es decir 49 personas, a comparación del 24% de sexo masculino siendo estas 36 personas de las que participaron en este estudio, siendo más PREVALENTE en el sexo femenino. El cuadro 4, Se puede observar que de las personas adultas que participaron en este estudio el 45.88% tienen la enfermedad gingival severa, el 38.82% presentan la enfermedad gingival moderada y el 15.29% presentan la enfermedad gingival leve, siendo más PREVALENTE la enfermedad gingival severa.
Finalmente, de los resultados obtenidos se puede concluir que más del 50% de muestra población en estudio padece de enfermedad gingival, lo cual con el análisis descrito respondemos a nuestra hipótesis Hi.; The objective of this research is to determine the prevalence of gingival disease in adults of the AA.HH MAMMA IRENE STAGE I of the district of San Juan Bautista. The research is quantitative, non-experimental, crosssectional, descriptive, non-comparative or correlational. The sample was made up of 150 patients, men and women, ages 20 to 39 and 40 to 60 years, respectively. The loe and silness gingival index was used to collect data. Table 2 presented a greater PREVALENCE of gingival disease in people whose ages rango between 20 and 39 years, representing 32.7%, compared to 24% of people whose ages are between 40 and 60 years, percentage lower than the previous one. Table 3, a greater prevalence was observed in the female sex, this being 32.67%, that is, 49 people, compared to 24% of the male sex, these being 36 people who participated in this study, being more PREVALENT in the female sex. . Table 4 shows that of the adults who participated in this study, 45.88% have severe gingival disease, 38.82% have moderate gingival disease and 15.29% have mild gingival disease, with gingival disease being more PREVALENT. severe. Finally, from the results obtained, it can be concluded that more than 50% of the study population sample suffers from gingival disease, which with the analysis described we respond to our hypothesis Hi.

Nivel de caries dental en adultos atendidos en la Ipress I-3 Cardozo y el Hospital II – 1 Nauta, 2023

Objetivo: Establecer la diferencia en el nivel de caries dental en pacientes atendidos en la Ipress I-3 Cardozo y el Hospital II- 1 Nauta en el año 2023.
Metodología: este estudio fue de tipo cuantitativo; diseño no experimental, descriptivo comparativo, transversal, prospectivo analítico. Donde se utilizó una ficha de recolección de datos ficha de índice para CPO La población estará constituida por pacientes adultos atendidos en la IPRESS I-3 Cardozo:133 y el Hospital II-1 Nauta :227 siendo un total de 360 adultos.
Resultados: En los resultados muestran que, la edad promedio fue 33-44 años; siendo la mínima de 18 y la máxima de 69 años. El 63,1% de la muestra fue del Hospital II-1 Nauta y el 36,9% fue del IPRESS Cardozo el 31,7% de la muestra fue del sexo masculino y el 68,3% fue del sexo femenino. El 52,5% de la muestra tuvo educación secundaria; el 30,8% tuvo primaria; la educación técnica y superior tuvo el 7,2% cada una; y el 2,2% tuvo secundaria incompleta. El 14,7% presentó un CPO de 9; el 12,8% presentó un CPO de 6; el 11,7% presentó un CPO de 8; el 10,8% tuvo un CPO de 7. El 63,6% tuvo un CPO alto; seguido del 22,2% moderado y el 14,2% bajo.
Conclusiones: En el Hospital II-1 Nauta el 54,2% tuvo un CPO alto; seguido del moderado con el 27,3% y el 18,5% bajo. En la IPRESS Cardozo el 79,7% presentó un CPO alto; seguido de moderado con el 13,5% y bajo el 6,8%.
Existen diferencias significativas entre los CPO de los Centros de Salud (p=0,003).
Existen diferencias significativas en piezas con lesiones cariosas entre los Centros de Salud (p=0,000). No existen diferencias entre piezas perdidas y obturadas.
Si existe relación entre Centro de Salud y edad (p=0,004).
No existe relación entre CPO y edad.

Objetivo: Establecer el índice de caries dental en gestantes atendidas en las Ipress I-3 CARDOZO y SANTA CLARA DE NANAY, en el año 2023. Metodología: el estudio fue de tipo cuantitativo; diseño no experimental, descriptivo comparativo, transversal, prospectivo analítico.se empleo una sola ficha de recolección de datos ficha de índice para CPO Población:279 muestra: 161 gestantes Resultados: los resultados muestran que la media de la edad fue 26,17 años, donde la edad mínima es 13 años y la edad máxima 43 años, El 43,8% estaba en el II trimestre de embarazo, el 34,5% en el I semestre y el 21,7% en el III trimestre, donde el 58.7% cuenta con secundaria completa con un CPO de 43.6% (muy alto), 26.0 % tiene primaria con un CPO de 57.7% (muy alto) y el 12.8% tiene estudio superio con un CPO de 36.1%. siendo el 39.9% de nuestra muestra presento 2 hijos.
Conclusiones: Existe relación entre el CPO e Ipress (p=0,029). Existe relación entre el CPO y la edad (p=0,042). Existe relación entre el CPO y el grado de instrucción (p=0,001). Existe relación entre la IPRESS y la edad (p=0,030). Existe relación entre la IPRESS y el número de hijos (P=0,003). Existe relación entre la IPRESS y el grado de instrucción (p=0,002). Existe relación entre edad y número de hijos (p=0,000). Existe relación entre número de hijos y dientes perdidos (p=0,000). Existe diferencia entre CPO de las dos IPRESS (p=0,000).; Objective: Establish the dental caries index in pregnant women treated at the Ipress I-3 CARDOZO and SANTA CLARA DE NANAY, in the year 2023.
Methodology: the study was quantitative; non-experimental, descriptive, comparative, cross-sectional, prospective analytical design. A single data collection sheet was used, an index sheet for CPO Population: 279 sample: 161 pregnant women. Results: The results show that the mean age was 26.17 years, where the minimum age is 13 years and the maximum age is 43 years. 43.8% were in the II trimester of pregnancy, 34.5% in the I semester and 21.7% in the third quarter, where 58.7% have completed high school with a CPO of 43.6% (very high), 26.0% have primary school with a CPO of 57.7% (very high) and 12.8% have superior study with a CPO of 36.1%. being 39.9% of our sample had 2 children.
Conclusions: There is a relationship between the CPO and the Ipress(p=0.029). There is a relationship between the CPO and age (p=0.042). There is a relationship between the CPO and the level of education (p=0.001). There is a relationship between thee Ipress and age (p=0.030). There is a relationship between the Ipress and the number of children (P=0.003). There is a relationship between the Ipress and the level of education (p=0.002). Introducción: Las enfermedades bucodentales que presentan los niños tiene su origen en una mala higiene oral debido a las prácticas inadecuadas que tienen en la prevención bucal, siendo un factor la influencia que tiene la madre en la educación de la salud bucal a sus hijos
Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de conocimiento de las madres sobre salud bucal y su relación con el índice de higiene oral de su hijo en dos asentamientos humanos de Iquitos, 2023
Metodología: El estudio es de tipo cuantitativo de diseño observacional transversal, prospectivo y correlacional, entrevistando a las madres y evaluando a sus hijos de 3 a 5 años de los AAHH Bello Horizonte (97) AAHH Manco Inca (77), a las madres se le aplicó un cuestionario de 20 preguntas, sobre la prevención de la salud oral (13 preguntas), enfermedades bucodentales (4 preguntas) y sobre la formación de los dientes (3 preguntas); y a los niños se le examinó la cavidad bucal para determinar su índice de higiene oral simplificado, la asocian fue a través de la prueba del chi cuadrado
Resultados: El 44.3% de las madres presentan un nivel regular de conocimiento sobre la salud bucal, el 43.7% con regular nivel de conocimiento sobre la prevención, el 44.8% con un nivel malo de conocimiento sobre las enfermedades bucales y riesgo de caries y el 56.3% con un nivel malo de conocimiento sobre la formación de los dientes; el mejor conocimiento se asoció significativamente con la mayor edad (p=0.003), con nivel de instrucción (p=0.001). El 43.1% de los niños tienen un IHO-S malo, el 36.8% nivel regular y el 20.1% nivel bueno; el IHO-S se asoció a una mayor edad del niño (p=0.031) y al sexo femenino (p=0.034),

Conclusión: El nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal de las madres se asocia significativamente con el nivel bueno de índice de higiene oral simplificado de su menor hijo.; Introduction: The oral diseases presented by children have their origin in poor oral hygiene due to inadequate practices in oral prevention, being a factor the influence that the mother has in the oral health education of her children

Methodology: The study is quantitative with a cross-sectional, prospective and correlational observational design, interviewing mothers and evaluating their children from 3 to 5 years of age from the AAHH Bello Horizonte (97) AAHH Manco Inca (77), the mothers were given a 20-question questionnaire on the prevention of oral health (13 questions). oral diseases (4 questions) and tooth formation (3 questions); and the children had their oral cavity examined to determine their simplified oral hygiene index, the associated was through the chi-square test
