El potencial turístico del barrio wayku y su incidencia en el desarrollo del turismo rural comunitario en la provincia de lamas, 2018

Abstract

Esta investigación se realizó con el objetivo general de determinar si el potencial turístico del Barrio Wayku incide en el desarrollo del turismo rural comunitario en la Provincia de Lamas, 2018. La investigación es de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo no experimental y diseño transeccional transversal descriptivo simple. La muestra está conformada por 92 pobladores del barrio Wayku, Distrito de Lamas, 2018; han sido elaborados dos cuestionarios válidos y confiables para la obtención de los datos de las variables en estudio, la información obtenida de los mismos fue procesada usando el software estadístico para ciencias sociales SPSS V23. Los resultados se presentan en tablas y debidamente analizadas. El 94.6% de los pobladores consideran que el potencial turístico del Barrio Wayku es bueno y el desarrollo del turismo rural comunitario es alto; siendo el coeficiente de contingencia estadístico de prueba Tau-b de Kendall es τ= 0.737, con nivel de significancia menor al 1% (P < 0.01); se acepta la hipótesis. Los principales elementos que confluyen y aportan indicios el potencial turístico en el ámbito rural son la existencia de amplios espacios rurales con características idóneas, nutridos de recursos culturales y naturales diversos e importantes. Se propuso a través de esta investigación evaluar el potencial turístico barrio Wayku, para promover el desarrollo del Turismo Rural comunitario en la Provincia de Lamas. Siendo esta actividad en estos tiempos una nueva tendencia en el turismo, la misma que puede servir no sólo como un medio para preservar nuestras costumbres, tradiciones, valores, y reforzar la identidad en particular de esta comunidad sino también que genere ingresos a las comunidades para disminuir los índices de pobreza.

This research was carried out with the general objective of determining whether the tourist potential of the Wayku Neighborhood affects the development of rural community tourism in the Province of Lamas, 2018. The research is of a quantitative approach, a non-experimental type and simple descriptive cross-sectional design. The sample is made up of 92 residents of the Wayku neighborhood, Lamas District, 2018; two valid and reliable questionnaires have been prepared to obtain the data of the variables under study, the information obtained from them was processed using the statistical software for social sciences SPSS V23. The results are presented in tables and duly analysed. 94.6% of the residents consider that the tourist potential of the Wayku Quarter is good and the development of rural community tourism is high; the statistical contingency coefficient of test Tau-b of Kendall is τ= 0.737, with a level of significance of less than 1% (P 0.01); the hypothesis is accepted. The main elements that converge and bring out the tourist potential in rural areas are the existence of large rural areas with suitable characteristics, rich in diverse and important cultural and natural resources. It was proposed through this research to evaluate the potential tourism neighborhood Wayku, to promote the development of Rural Community Tourism in the Province of Lamas. Being this activity in these times a new trend in tourism, the same that can serve not only as a means to preserve our customs, traditions, values, and to reinforce the identity of this community in particular, but also to generate income for the communities in order to reduce poverty rates.
