This Thesis addresses the problem that answers the following question To what extent can a Logistics Management Model improve the processes of distribution, control of materials and selection of suppliers on site? The specific objectives of this research are aimed at improving the precision of materials planning by construction items by improving collaborative relationships, reducing the operational work of the purchasing process by consolidating orders, maintaining adequate inventory levels based on constructive production scheduling and reducing the percentage of excess material from each project.
The Main Hypothesis was verified with the Value p = 0.002 , so that we can affirm that the implementation of a Logistics Management Model will significantly improve the distribution processes, Control of materials in warehouses and Selection of suppliers, improving productivity in the construction site. In relation to the specific hypotheses, a significant reduction in distribution and purchasing process times, reduction of logistics costs, approval and selection of adequate suppliers was verified. Finally, for the hypothesis tests, the Student's t test was applied for independent samples.
