Frecuencia de Leptospirosis en pacientes que acuden al Hospital III Iquitos Essalud de Enero a Septiembre 2022

Abstract

El presente estudio estuvo orientado a resolver el siguiente problema: ¿Cuál es la frecuencia de Leptospirosis, en los pacientes que acuden al Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud de enero a septiembre 2022?. El objetivo de la investigación fue: Determinar cómo es la frecuencia de leptospirosis en pacientes que acuden al Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud de enero a septiembre 2022. Materiales y métodos: Este es un estudio de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo observacional, descriptivo y transversal. Se trabajó con las fichas epidemiológicas de 1346 pacientes que acudieron al Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud de enero a septiembre 2022. Para el análisis de la información se utilizó el paquete estadístico de SPSS V.24. Resultados: Se observa que de 1346 pacientes a los que se le realizaron la prueba para leptospirosis, en el periodo enero a septiembre 2022 en el Hospital III ESSALUD Iquitos: 319 (23.70%) fueron positivos; 881 (65.45%) fueron negativos y 146 (10.85%) indeterminados. De los casos positivos 134 (42%) de casos de pacientes de sexo masculino y 185 (58%) de pacientes de sexo femenino. El distrito que presento la mayor cantidad de casos fue Punchana con 486 casos y el que presento menos fue Belen con 109 casos. Conclusiones: La revisión permitió determinar cuáles son los distritos donde se presenta la mayor frecuencia de casos de pacientes asegurados, en el Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud de enero a septiembre 2022, que fue el distrito de Punchana con 319 casos y que el sexo femenino fue el que presento mayor frecuencia con 185 casos. El grupo etario donde se presentó mayor frecuencia fue de 18 a 31 años.The present study was oriented to solve the following problem: What is the frequency of Leptospirosis, in patients who attend Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud from January to September 2022?. The objective of the research was: To determine the frequency of leptospirosis in patients who attend Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud from January to September 2022. Materials and methods: This is a quantitative, observational, descriptive and cross-sectional study. We worked with the epidemiological records of 1346 patients who attended Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud from January to September 2022. For the analysis of the information, the SPSS V.24 statistical package was used. Results: It is observed that of 1346 patients who underwent the test for leptospirosis, in the period January to September 2022 at Hospital III ESSALUD Iquitos: 319 (23.70%) were positive; 881 (65.45%) were negative and 146 (10.85%) indeterminate. Of the positive cases 134 (42%) of cases of male patients and 185 (58%) of female patients. The district that presented the largest number of cases was Punchana with 486 cases and the one that presented the least was Belen with 109 cases. Conclusions: The review made it possible to determine which are the districts where the highest frequency of cases of insured patients occurs, in Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud from January to September 2022, which was the district of Punchana with 319 cases and that the female sex was the which presented more frequently with 185 cases. The age group where it occurred more frequently was from 18 to 31 years.
