Abstract
A pesar

Despite its impact on the health of both humans and animals, the prevalence of Toxocara canis and associated risk factors in dogs of different breeds in Iquitos have not been thoroughly studied. In this descriptive and applicative research, the aim is to establish the frequency of Toxocara canis presence and identify the risk factors associated with this parasitosis in dogs of diverse breeds in the city of Iquitos. The findings from this study will be crucial for designing and implementing strategies aimed at preventing and controlling Toxocara canis within the community, thereby contributing to improving both public health and animal welfare in the region.
