Abstract

Results: The prevalence of anti cytomegalovirus was 69.71% of the patients who attended Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud, of the reactive patients according to sex in women (85.34%) and in men (14.66%); According to age, the most frequent range was from 31 to 40 years (29.32%), according to origin it was urban with (62.83%) and according to reaction the anti cytomegalovirus Ig G with (57.07%). Conclusions: The seroprevalence of anti cytomegalovirus is important through chemiluminescence, it has a reliable tool in the diagnosis of cytomegalovirus, in our research there is a high prevalence of cytomegalovirus with 69.71% of the patients who were requested the analysis.
