Abstract
El objetivo de la presente investigación es determinar el mercado de los
centros recreacionales en la ciudad de Iquitos, además de indicar la oferta
y la demanda de la mencionada actividad empresarial. La metodología
empleada en este estudio se caracterizó por ser descriptiva, de enfoque
transversal y carecer de componente experimental. Se concluye que, en
Iquitos existen varios centros recreacionales que brindan sus servicios al
público de manera general, localizándose la mayoría fuera del casco
urbano de la ciudad, sin embargo; Son lugares de fácil acceso en transporte
vehicular, a excepción del centro de esparcimiento King Kong, cuyo acceso
es complicado por tener una carretera de penetración sin asfaltar. En estos
centros se puede encontrar: restaurantes, bares, piscinas, toboganes (en
algunos casos), estacionamiento y canchas deportivas. La mayor cantidad
de visitantes a estos lugares, son ciudadanos entre los 36 y 50 años de
edad, los cuales visitan con mucha frecuencia, siendo el compartir con la
familia y amigos, lo que más les motiva a acudir. El 43.6% y 36.2% ha tenido
buena y muy buenas experiencias en los centros recreacionales,
respectivamente; habiendo el 69.0% obtenida información de familiares y
amigos de los atractivos del lugar. Finalmente, el 75.6%, de los
encuestados, sí recomendaría acudir a los centros recreacionales, ya que
consideran que son lugares ideales para disfrutar en compañía de
familiares y amigos.
