De acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos, el nivel de conocimiento de salud bucal es bajo con un 53.1%. Por su parte, el 56.6% muestra un índice de higiene oral mala. Estableciendo que existe una correlación positiva y significativa entre los conocimientos de salud bucal e índice de higiene oral, corroborado por un coeficiente de 0.764 y una sig. de 0.000. Asimismo, el conocimiento de los elementos de higiene bucal presenta un coeficiente de 0.770 y sig. de 0.00; por su parte, el conocimiento de los hábitos de higiene muestra un coeficiente de 0.776 y una sig. de 0.00 siendo positiva moderada; finalmente, el conocimiento de las técnicas de higiene un coeficiente de 0.772 y sig. de 0.000, ambos se relacionan positiva y significativamente con el índice de higiene bucal.The purpose of this report was to determine the relationship between oral health knowledge and oral hygiene index in children aged 9 to 11 years, from the I.E.I.P 60059 Antonio Raymondi, Iquitos 2023, opting for a basic type study, descriptive level and non-specific design. experimental, taking 290 boys and girls as the population, to whom a data collection form was used.
