Inversión pública y crecimiento económico en informes estadísticos en la Región Loreto 2019 – 2020

Abstract

La inversión pública en la región Loreto para los años 2019 y 2020 fue de 4 y 4.8 billones respectivamente. Se estudió tres sectores de inversión pública: educación, turismo y transporte. El sector educación es el que recibe mayor presupuesto y el que tiene mayor capacidad de gasto; el gobierno regional tiene participación cercana al 90% en este sector. El sector turismo recibe presupuestos inferiores al 0.5% del total del presupuesto regional, donde el gobierno regional es el que mayor participación presupuestal tiene. En el sector transporte la inversión fue realizada mayormente por el gobierno nacional. Los niveles de ejecución representan más del 75% del presupuesto comprometido. El crecimiento económico en la región Loreto se refleja a través de PBI regional el cual se estudió desde el año 2018 al 2020. Teniendo como punto de referencia el año 2018. Los tres sectores estudiados: sector público, turismo y construcción muestran los siguientes resultados: en el sector público, se observa un incremento gradual en el PBI, con una variación anual de casi 6% entre los años 2019 y 2020. En el sector de turismo se muestra caída porcentual mayor al 40% en el 2020 en comparación con el 2019. Lo cual podría estar estrechamente relacionado con la presencia de la pandemia para dicho año. En el sector construcción se observa un crecimiento mínimo porcentual del PBI por sectores, con un 3.9%.

Public investment in the Loreto region for the years 2019 and 2020 was 4 and 4.8 billion respectively. Three sectors of public investment were studied: education, tourism and transport. The education sector is the one that receives the largest budget and the one with the greatest spending capacity; the regional government has a participation close to 90% in this sector. The tourism sector receives budgets of less than 0.5% of the total regional budget, where the regional government is the one with the highest budgetary participation. In the transportation sector, investment was made mostly by the national government. The execution levels represent more than 75% of the committed budget. Economic growth in the Loreto region is reflected through regional GDP which was studied from 2018 to 2020. Taking 2018 as a reference point.
