Abstract
The objective of the study was: To determine the impact of non-selfincrimination on the protection of fundamental rights in persons prosecuted during the fourth quarter of the Judicial District of Iquitos, 2023. It was a cross-sectional correlational, non-experimental design with 57 processed persons, and the census sample consisted of 100% of the population. Information was collected through a survey/questionnaire. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the information for both variables, where the variables have very close mean values (2.32 and 2.30). The low standard deviations suggest that most of the responses do not deviate much from the average, accepting the derived hypothesis 3: There is a high relationship between Non-Self-Incrimination and its impact on the Protection of Fundamental Rights, and inferential where a Spearman correlation was performed to examine the very high positive correlation (°rho = 0.990, p < 0.001), statistically significant, suggesting that the observed relationship is not a product of chance. Accepting the general hypothesis of the research: Non-Self-Incrimination Significantly Impacts significantly on the Protection of Fundamental Rights of Persons Prosecuted during the fourth quarter of the Processed during the fourth quarter of the Judicial District of Iquitos, 2023.
