Conocimiento sobre anticoncepción oral de emergencia en mujeres en edad fértil atendidas en el Centro de Salud de Santa María de Alto Nanay, marzo del 2017

Abstract
Introducción
La guía nacional de atención integral de la salud sexual y reproductiva, define como anticoncepción oral de emergencia a los métodos hormonales que se usan como emergencia, luego de una relación sexual sin protección, para evitar un embarazo no deseado.
Objetivo
Determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre anticoncepción oral de emergencia en mujeres de edad fértil atendidas en el centro de salud de Santa María de Alto Nanay, marzo del 2017.
Metodología
Se realizó un diseño descriptivo transversal, evaluando a 50 mujeres que acudieron al centro de salud de Santa María de Alto Nanay; se le aplicó un cuestionario previamente elaborado y validado con 20 preguntas sobre forma de uso, beneficios, efectos adversos de la anticoncepción oral de emergencia; donde se consideró que de 11 a 20 el conocimiento es adecuado y de 0 a 10 no adecuado, los datos se analizaron a través del software SPSS 15.0.
Resultados
Un 54% corresponde a mujeres con estudios Secundarios, un 60% de mujeres son convivientes, un 90% de mujeres han tenido de 0 a 2 parejas sexuales, el 58% de mujeres han tenido de 0 a 3 partos, un 82% no tuvo ningún aborto; se observó que un 52% de mujeres encuestadas obtuvieron un resultado adecuado y 48% de mujeres encuestadas obtuvieron un inadecuado conocimiento en anticoncepción oral de emergencia.
Conclusión
De acuerdo al cuestionario aplicado a las mujeres en edad fértil del centro de salud de Santa María de Alto Nanay el 52% obtuvieron un resultado adecuado en cuanto al nivel de conocimiento sobre anticoncepción oral de emergencia o píldoras del día siguiente.

Objective To determine the level of knowledge about emergency oral contraception in women of childbearing age treated at the Santa María de Alto Nanay health center, March 2017. Methodology A descriptive cross-sectional design was carried out, evaluating 50 women who attended the health center of Santa María de Alto Nanay; A previously elaborated and validated questionnaire was applied with 20 questions about the use, benefits, and adverse effects of emergency oral contraception; where it was considered that from 11 to 20 the knowledge is adequate and from 0 to 10 not adequate, the data was analyzed through the SPSS 15.0 software. Results. 54% correspond to women with Secondary studies, 60% of women are cohabiting, 90% of women have had 0 to 2 sexual partners, 58% of women have had 0 to 3 deliveries, 82% do not had no abortion; It was observed that 52% of the surveyed women obtained an adequate result and 48% of the surveyed women obtained an inadequate knowledge of emergency oral contraception. Conclusion According to the questionnaire applied to women of childbearing age at the Santa María de Alto Nanay health center, 52% obtained an adequate result regarding the level of knowledge about emergency oral contraception or morning-after pills.
