a marzo 2022.
Metodología.
Estudio de investigación de tipo cuantitativo. El diseño de investigación no
experimental, descriptiva, correlacional y prospectiva.
0.0015.
To determine the relationship between the nutritional status and the degree of anemia, in pregnant women treated at the Iquitos César Garayar García Hospital from January to March 2022. Methodology. Quantitative research study. Non-experimental, descriptive, correlational and prospective research design. The population made up of 900 pregnant women with a sample of 206 pregnant women of the III trimester and the type of probabilistic sampling, simple random. Outcome. In the sociodemographic characteristics, a greater frequency of ages between 20 to 35 years is observed, 75.7% cohabitants, 71.4% secondary level and 88.8% housewives. In the obstetric characteristics, it is observed that 50.0% are multiparous and 51.5% had more than 6 prenatal care. In nutritional status, 37.4% were overweight, 30.1% normal weight and obese, respectively, and in relation to the degree of anemia, 79.6% of pregnant women did not have anemia, and only 20.4% had mild anemia. When relating nutritional status and anemia, there is a higher frequency of overweight pregnant women without anemia, making 31.0%, followed by 54 pregnant women with obesity, which represents 26.2%, and mild anemia, 8.7%. However, there is a relationship between nutritional status and anemia with a value of p= 0.0015. Conclusion. There is a relationship between nutritional status and anemia with a value of p= 0.0015.
