Abstract
Objetivo.
Determinar la prevalencia y las características en pacientes que viven con
VIH atendidos en el Hospital Iquitos César Garayar García periodo 2022.
Metodología.
Estudio descriptivo, no experimental, transversal con diseño retrospectivo.
La muestra y población estuvo compuesta por cien pacientes VIH positivos.
Resultado.
Prevalencia del 23,2% de personas con VIH. En las características
sociodemográficos: 49% (49) pertenecen al rango de edades de 27 a 59
años y en población gestante 69,2% (18) a edades de 20 a 35 años, en el
II trimestre de gestación en el 38,4%; 60% (60), de sexo femenino (incluye
las mujeres gestantes), 62,2% (46) de nivel educativo secundaria en ambas
poblaciones, 50,0% (37) viven en la zona urbana; 54,1% (40) en ambas
poblaciones, en ocupación se dedican a trabajos independientes y en
población gestante 73,1% (19) son amas de casa, estado civil convivientes
en ambas poblaciones. En las características sexuales: 55,4% (41) tuvieron
entre 5 a más parejas sexuales y en población gestante el 61,5% (16)
tuvieron entre 3 a 4 parejas sexuales: el 74,3% (55) no usaron método de
barrera lo mismo que en población gestante 88,5% (23); el 62,2% (46) no
tuvieron antecedente de ITS, en población gestante el 96,2% (25) sí
tuvieron antecedente de ITS; el 89,2% (66) iniciaron relaciones sexuales
antes o a los 18 años de edad, lo mismo ocurre en población gestante en
el 96,2% (25); 77,0% (57) se consideran heterosexuales. En características
clínicas: linfocitosTCD4 entre 200 a 499/ mm3 en ambas poblaciones y la
carga viral fue detectable.
Conclusión. La prevalencia de personas con VIH es elevada.
Objective. To determine the prevalence and characteristics in patients living with HIV treated at Hospital Iquitos César Garayar García period 2022. Methodology. Descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional study, with retrospective design. The sample and population was made up of one hundred HIV positive patients. Result. Prevalence of 23.2%. In the sociodemographic characteristics: 49% (49) belong to the age range of 27 to 59 years and in the pregnant population 69.2% (18) at ages 20 to 35 years, in the second trimester of pregnancy in 38.4 %; 60% (60) were female (including pregnant women), 62.2% (46) had a secondary education level in both populations, 50.0% (37) lived in urban areas; 54.1% (40) in both populations, in occupation are dedicated to independent work and in pregnant population73.1% (19) are housewives, marital status cohabitants in both populations. In the sexual characteristics: 55.4% (41) had 5 or more sexual partners and in the pregnant population 61.5% (16) had 3 to 4 sexual partners: 74.3% (55) did not use the method barrier the same as in the pregnant population 88.5% (23); 62.2% (46) had no history of STIs, in the pregnant population 96.2% (25) did have a history of STIs; 89.2% (66) started sexual relations before or at 18 years of age, the same occurs in the pregnant population in 96.2% (25); 77.0% (57) consider themselves heterosexual. In clinical characteristics: TCD4 lymphocytes between 200 to 499/mm3 in both populations and the viral load was detectable. Conclusion. There is a high prevalence of people with HIV.
