Relación entre percepción de salud bucal e higiene oral en estudiantes del C.E.P.M. 60053 Gral. EP. Augusto Freyre García Iquitos 2023

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la percepción de salud bucal e higiene oral en estudiantes del C.E.P.M. 60053 GRAL. EP. Augusto Freyre García, Iquitos 2023, en donde se ha optado por una investigación con enfoque cuantitativo, nivel descriptivocorrelacional y diseño no experimental; tomando como muestra a 177 estudiantes entre hombres y mujeres a quienes se les empleó la ficha de recolección de datos para la percepción sobre salud bucal y el formato de índice de higiene oral simplificado. De acuerdo a los resultados se determinó que la percepción de salud bucal mantiene una relación significativa con la higiene oral en estudiantes, el cual fue corroborado por un coeficiente de 0.647 positiva media; asimismo para las dimensiones síntoma preescolar presenta un coeficiente de 0.609 y sig de 0.000; la función preescolar un coeficiente de 0.664 y sig de 0.000; psicología preescolar un coeficiente de 0.661 y sig de 0.000; y por ultimo entre la autoimagen del preescolar /interacción social un coeficiente de 0.670 y una sig 0.000 todos ellos se relacionan significativamente con la higiene oral.The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the perception of oral health and oral hygiene in students of the C.E.P.M. 60053 GRAL. EP. Augusto Freyre García, Iquitos 2023, where an investigation with a quantitative approach, descriptive-correlational level and non-experimental design has been chosen; Taking as a sample 177 students between men and women who were used the data collection form for data collection. According to the results, it was determined that the perception of oral health maintains a significant relationship with oral hygiene in students, which was corroborated by a mean positive coefficient of 0.647; Likewise, for the child symptom dimensions, it presents a coefficient of 0.609 and a sig of 0.000; the child function a coefficient of 0.664 and sig of 0.000; child psychology a coefficient of 0.661 and sig of 0.000; and finally, between the self-image of the child/social interaction, a coefficient of 0.670 and a sig 0.000, all of them are significantly related to oral hygiene.
