Conocimiento y actitud frente a la infección de transmisión sexual en estudiantes del 5to de secundaria de una I.E. de la ciudad de Iquitos, 2022.

Introducción: Las infecciones de transmisión sexual son infecciones muy prevalentes el adolescente que presentan un comportamiento de riesgo en sus actividades sexuales no protegidas, por la falta de conocimiento y baja percepción de riesgo de enfermar. Objetivo: Establecer la relación entre el conocimiento y actitud frente a la infección de transmisión sexual en estudiantes del 5to de secundaria de una institución educativa de la ciudad de Iquitos, 2022. Materiales y Métodos: Investigación descriptiva – relacional, observacional, prospectiva y analítica, diseño no experimental transversal, población conformada por 179 estudiantes de quinto de secundaria de la I.E. San Juan de Miraflores, la muestra fue de 122 estudiantes, ya que se utilizó un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia y participación voluntaria. Técnica la encuesta. Instrumento. Cuestionario validado por juicio de expertos. Resultados: el nivel de conocimiento, fue 57,4% presentó un nivel medio, el 32% nivel alto y el 10,7% nivel bajo. Sobre la actitud, el 66,4% presentó una actitud positiva, el 28,7% presentaron una actitud indiferente y el 4,9% mostraron actitud negativa. Conclusión: Se contrastó la hipótesis mediante el estadístico no paramétrico Rho de Spearman, observando relación significativa entre el conocimiento y actitud de infección sobre transmisión sexual en estudiantes de una institución educativa, ciudad Iquitos (Rho=0,187; p=0,039; correlación positiva media).

Materials and Methods: Descriptive research – relational, observational, prospective and analytical, non-experimental cross-sectional design, population made up of 179 fifth grade students of the I.E. San Juan de Miraflores, the sample was 122 students, since a non-probabilistic sampling was used for convenience and voluntary participation. Technical survey. Instrument. Questionnaire validated by expert judgment. Results:The level of knowledge was 57.4% presented a medium level, 32% high level and 10.7% low level. Regarding attitude, 66.4% presented a positive attitude, 28.7% presented an indifferent attitude and 4.9% showed a negative attitude. Conclusion: The hypothesis was contrasted using the non-parametric statistic Rho de Spearman, observing a significant relationship between the knowledge and attitude of infection on sexual transmission in students of an educational institution, Iquitos city (Rho=0.187; p=0.039; mean positive correlation).
