Abstract
Introducción: El embarazo precoz es un problema de salud en la región
de Loreto, con presencia de complicaciones maternas y perinatales, una
de las causas en el desconocimiento de las adolescentes de los métodos
anticonceptivos hormonales.
Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre los anticonceptivos
hormonales en las adolescentes del AAHH 9 de Abril del distrito de San
Juan Bautista de la ciudad de Iquitos.
Metodología: Se realizo un estudio cuantitativo, observacional,
transversal, prospectivo, correlacional, entrevistando a 102 de 189
adolescente de sexo femenino entre los 14 a 19 años de edad del AAHH
9 de Abril, aplicando un cuestionario de 8 preguntas para determinar el
nivel de conocimiento sobre los anticonceptivos hormonales.
Resultados: Más del 60% de las adolescentes entrevistadas del AAHH 9
de Abril tienen un conocimiento adecuado sobre la anticoncepción
hormonal. El nivel de instrucción, la actividad sexual y la experiencia de la
adolescente de gestar influyeron significativamente en las adolescentes
en tener un nivel adecuado de conocimiento sobre los anticonceptivos
hormonales.
Conclusión: La mayoría de las adolescentes del AAHH 9 de Abril tiene
un nivel adecuado de conocimiento sobre los anticonceptivos hormonales.
Introduction: Precocious pregnancy is a health problem in the Loreto region, with the presence of maternal and perinatal complications, one of the causes of the ignorance of adolescents of hormonal contraceptive methods. Objective: To determine the level of knowledge about hormonal contraceptives in the adolescents of the AAHH 9 de Abril in the district of San Juan Bautista in the city of Iquitos. Methodology: A quantitative, observational, cross-sectional, prospective, correlational study was carried out, interviewing 102 of 189 female adolescents between 14 and 19 years of age from the AAHH April 9, applying a questionnaire of 8 questions to determine the level of knowledge about hormonal contraceptives. Results: More than 60% of the adolescents interviewed at AAHH April 9 have adequate knowledge about hormonal contraception. The level of education, sexual activity and the adolescent's experience of pregnancy significantly influenced adolescents in having an adequate level of knowledge about hormonal contraceptives.
