Conocimiento sobre los síntomas y signos de alarma en gestantes atendidas en el IPRESS I-3 Requena, octubre - noviembre 2020

Introducción
La mortalidad materna es un problema de salud pública que tiene una de sus estrategias para reducirla es el conocimiento de las gestantes sobre los síntomas y signos de alarma.
Objetivo
Determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre los síntomas y signos de alarma en las gestantes atendidas en el IPRESS I-3 de Requena.
Metodología
Estudio de Tipo cuantitativo de diseño descriptivo, transversal, prospectivo, correlativo, entrevistando a 46 gestantes atendidas en el IPRESS I-3 de Requena, aplicando un cuestionario semiestructurado de 14 premisas.
Resultados
El 45.7% de las gestantes entrevistadas presentaron un nivel regular de conocimiento sobre los síntomas y signos de alarma, el 30.4% malo y el 23.9% un buen nivel; el conocimiento se asoció significativamente a una mayor paridad (p=0.033), a 6 a más atenciones prenatales (p=0.034)y a la recepción de información sobre los síntomas y signos de alarma (p=0.009).
Conclusión
Una de cada 4 gestantes que se atiende en el IPRESS-3 de Requena tiene un buen nivel de conocimiento sobre los síntomas y signos de alarma.
