Abstract
Introducción: La creciente participación en actividades deportivas conlleva
innumerables beneficios, pero también plantea desafíos, siendo las
lesiones musculoesqueléticas en atletas jóvenes una preocupación
relevante. Este estudio aborda las consecuencias de dichas lesiones,
definidas como problemas de salud relacionados con el sistema locomotor.
Objetivos: El principal objetivo de la investigación fue analizar la relación
entre las alteraciones posturales de la columna vertebral y las lesiones
musculoesqueléticas de los miembros inferiores en jugadores de fútbol de
la liga distrital Iquitos categoría 2007. Se buscó identificar factores
asociados y proponer recomendaciones preventivas. Resultados: Los
resultados revelaron que el 63.49% de jugadores con alteraciones
posturales sufrieron al menos una lesión musculoesquelética en los últimos
12 meses. Se encontró asociación entre alteraciones de la columna
vertebral y las lesiones musculoesqueléticas de los miembros inferiores fue
estadísticamente significativa (p=0.049), factores como el consumo de
alcohol (p<0.001), obesidad (p<0.001), posición de juego (p=0.018), y pie
plano (p<0.001) mostraron asociaciones significativas con lesiones
musculoesqueléticas. Conclusiones: Este estudio destaca la importancia
de la conciencia postural y la necesidad de abordar factores de riesgo como
el consumo de alcohol, la obesidad y las características individuales, como
el pie plano, para prevenir lesiones musculoesqueléticas en jugadores de
fútbol. se subraya la necesidad de intervenciones personalizadas y
programas educativos para promover estilos de vida saludables en la
comunidad deportiva.
Introduction:The increasing participation in sports activities brings numerous benefits, but it also poses challenges, with musculoskeletal injuries in young athletes being a relevant concern. This study addresses the consequences of such injuries, defined as health issues related to the musculoskeletal system.Objectives:The main objective of the research was to analyze the relationship between postural alterations of the spine and musculoskeletal injuries of the lower limbs in soccer players from the district league in Iquitos, category 2007. The aim was to identify associated factors and propose preventive recommendations.Results:The results revealed that 63.49% of players with postural alterations suffered at least one musculoskeletal injury in the last 12 months. The association between spinal alterations and musculoskeletal injuries of the lower limbs was statistically significant (p=0.049). Factors such as alcohol consumption (p<0.001), obesity (p<0.001), playing position (p=0.018), and flat feet (p<0.001) showed significant associations with musculoskeletal injuries. Conclusions: This study highlights the importance of postural awareness and the need to address risk factors such as alcohol consumption, obesity, and individual characteristics like flat feet to prevent musculoskeletal injuries in soccer players. The need for personalized interventions and educational programs to promote healthy lifestyles in the sports community is emphasized.
