Abstract
El conocimiento sobre el manejo adecuado de los residuos sólidos domiciliarios permite a una comunidad poder lograr una calidad de vida saludable y minimizar los riesgos de salud pública. El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo general evaluar el conocimiento sobre los residuos sólidos domiciliarios en los pobladores del AA. HH. Mamma Irene etapa I, distrito de San Juan Bautista, Iquitos 2024. La investigación fue de nivel descriptivo no experimental y los resultados se dieron a conocer usando la estadística descriptiva. La muestra estuvo conformada por 185 pobladores de ambos sexos y mayores de 18 años. Se concluye que los pobladores del AA. HH. Mamma Irene etapa I, distrito de San Juan Bautista, presentan alto desconocimiento sobre los residuos sólidos domiciliarios. Así mismo se concluyó que los que presentan edades entre 41 a 50 años, tienen un conocimiento bajo sobre los residuos sólidos domiciliarios. Los de sexo femenino, presentan un bajo nivel de conocimiento sobre los residuos sólidos domiciliarios. Los que tienen un grado de instrucción primaria tienen un bajo conocimiento sobre los residuos sólidos domiciliarios.
Knowledge about the proper management of household solid waste allows a community to achieve a healthy quality of life and minimize public health risks. The general objective of this study was to evaluate the knowledge about household solid waste in the residents of the AA. HH. Mamma Irene stage I, San Juan Bautista district, Iquitos 2024. The research was at a non-experimental descriptive level and the results were reported using descriptive statistics. The sample was made up of 185 residents of both sexes and over 18 years of age. It is concluded that the residents of the AA. HH. Mamma Irene stage I, district of San Juan Bautista, have a high level of ignorance about household solid waste. Likewise, it was concluded that those between 41 and 50 years old have low knowledge about household solid waste. Those of the female sex have a low level of knowledge about household solid waste. Those who have a level of primary education have low knowledge about household solid waste.
