Factores asociados al inicio del consumo de alcohol en adolescentes en el AA-HH las vegas, punchana 2024

Abstract

El propósito de este estudio fue identificar los determinantes vinculados con la instauración del hábito de ingerir alcohol entre los adolescentes residentes en el AA-HH Las Vegas, Punchana, en el año 2024. La naturaleza de la investigación se enmarca en el paradigma cuantitativo. , con un diseño no experimental de tipo descriptivo y correlacional, concebido de manera prospectiva. La población objeto de estudio comprendió 175 adolescentes, cuyas edades oscilaban entre los 12 y 17 años. La metodología adoptada consistió en entrevistas, utilizando un cuestionario como de recolección de datos, previo instrumento de obtención de consentimiento informado tanto del tutor legal como del propio adolescente. El cuestionario abordaba aspectos relativos a los factores predisponentes y el inicio del consumo de alcohol, estructurando sus preguntas en formato de respuesta múltiple, donde el participante seleccionaba la opción más relevante marcándola con una 'X'. Los resultados de esta tesis revelan que el 71.7% de los adolescentes participantes tienen entre 15 y 19 años, siendo el 54.7% del sexo femenino y el 80.2% matriculados como estudiantes. Además, el 42.5% proviene de áreas urbanas y el 51.9% tiene ingresos medios. Respecto a los factores familiares, el 66.0% reporta tener una comunicación efectiva en el hogar, mientras que el 76.4% de los padres no consume alcohol. A nivel individual, el 63.3% no consume alcohol por placer, el 67.9% lo hace por curiosidad, y el 73.6% debido a problemas amorosos. Se encontró que el 23.6% de los adolescentes han iniciado el consumo de alcohol. En conclusión, los análisis estadísticos revelaron una relación significativa entre los factores sociodemográficos (p=0.0004), familiares (p=0.011) e individuales (p=0.036) y el inicio del consumo de alcohol, con diferentes niveles de asociación según el tipo de factor.

The purpose of this study was to identify the determinants linked to the establishment of the habit of drinking alcohol among adolescents residing in the AA-HH Las Vegas, Punchana, in the year 2024. The nature of the research is framed in the quantitative paradigm. , with a non-experimental descriptive and correlational design, conceived prospectively. The population under study included 175 adolescents, whose ages ranged between 12 and 17 years. The methodology adopted consisted of interviews, using a questionnaire as data collection, after obtaining informed consent from both the legal guardian and the adolescent himself. The questionnaire addressed aspects related to predisposing factors and the beginning of alcohol consumption, structuring its questions in multiple response format, where the participant selected the most relevant option by marking it with an 'X'. The results of this thesis reveal that 71.7% of the participating adolescents are between 15 and 19 years old, 54.7% being female and 80.2% enrolled as students. Furthermore, 42.5% come from urban areas and 51.9% have middle income. Regarding family factors, 66.0% report having effective communication at home, while 76.4% of parents do not consume alcohol. At an individual level, 63.3% do not consume alcohol for pleasure, 67.9% do so out of curiosity, and 73.6% do so due to love problems. It was found that 23.6% of adolescents have started drinking alcohol. In conclusion, the statistical analyzes revealed a significant relationship between sociodemographic (p=0.0004), family (p=0.011) and individual factors (p=0.036) and the onset of alcohol consumption, with different levels of association depending on the type of factor.
