Abstract
La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el comportamiento del mercado de motocicletas en la ciudad de Iquitos, la oferta y demanda en el mercado. Su metodología fue descriptiva, transversal y no experimental; la primera población fueron las empresas comerciales de venta de motocicletas y a quien se aplicó hoja de observación; la segunda conformada, por jóvenes universitarios, y muestra 384 de ellos, a quienes se aplicaron cuestionario. Las empresas presentan importante oferta de vehículos y están concentradas en marcas, como Zongshen, Lifan, Yamaha y Honda; y sus principales fuentes de aprovisionamiento son China y Japón. Los precios se presentan en soles; cuentan con estrategias de venta, garantía y servicio técnico. El 76.0% de los participantes indicó que poseen motocicletas, 62.0% de marca Honda y marca Lifan 17%, la razón de preferencia fue la calidad 54.0%, y calificaron como bueno la marca de su motocicleta 63%; el 42% indicaron que hace poco compraron su motocicleta y el 43% manifestaron no tener interés en adquirir una nueva.
The objective of the research was to determine the behavior of the motorcycle market in the city of Iquitos, the supply and demand in the market. Its methodology was descriptive, transversal and non-experimental; The first population was the commercial companies selling motorcycles and to whom the observation sheet was applied; the second was made up of young university students, and sampled 384 of them, to whom the questionnaire was applied. The companies present a significant range of vehicles and are concentrated in brands, such as Zongshen, Lifan, Yamaha and Honda; and its main sources of supply are China and Japan. Prices are presented in soles; They have sales, warranty and technical service strategies. 76.0% of the participants indicated that they own motorcycles, 62.0% Honda brand and 17% Lifan brand, the reason for preference was quality 54.0%, and they rated the brand of their motorcycle as good 63%; 42% indicated that they recently purchased their motorcycle and 43% stated that they have no interest in purchasing a new one.
