Conocimiento y actitud preventiva sobre el dengue de los pobladores de un aahh del distrito de San Juan Bautista – Iquitos 2023

Abstract
El Dengue, una patología de origen viral transmitida por mosquitos, ha
perduradoen nuestra localidad por un lapso de 32 años, manifestándose en
episodios queimpactan a la población con una tasa de letalidad reducida.
El propósito fundamental de la presente investigación consiste en
determinar el nivel de conocimiento y la disposición preventiva respecto al
Dengue en los residentes de un Asentamiento Humano (AAHH) ubicado en
el distrito de San Juan Bautista - Iquitos, durante el año 2023. Desde el
punto de vista metodológico, seimplementó un enfoque cuantitativo con un
diseño descriptivo, transversal,prospectivo y correlacional. Se llevó a cabo
la entrevista a 185 individuos, pertenecientes a los grupos etarios de
adolescentes y adultos de ambos géneros, residente en el AAHH Manco
Inca en el distrito de San Juan Bautista. Se utilizó un cuestionario
compuesto por 10 preguntas para evaluar el grado deconocimiento sobre
el Dengue, y un cuestionario de tipo Likert con 10 premisaspara evaluar la
disposición preventiva de los habitantes. Los resultados revelaronque el
53% de los habitantes exhiben un conocimiento apropiado acerca del
Dengue, presentando asociación significativa con pobladores adultos
(67.1%), del género femenino (55%), aquellos con acceso al suministro de
agua a travésde la red domiciliaria (61.2%) y pozo (56.9%), así como con
aquellos que han experimentado el Dengue personalmente (64.7%) o
tienen familiares afectados (59.0%). En relación a la disposición preventiva,
el 41.6% de los habitantes la manifiestan como adecuada, mostrando una
asociación significativa con pobladores adultos (52.6%), género femenino
(49.0%) y aquellos que hanpadecido Dengue (64.7%). Se concluye que los
residentes con un conocimientoadecuado sobre el Dengue exhiben una
disposición preventiva significativamente adecuada hacia la enfermedad
(p=0.000).
Dengue, a pathology of viral origin transmitted by mosquitoes, has persisted in our town for a period of 32 years, manifesting itself in episodes that impact the population with a reduced fatality rate. The fundamental purpose of this researchis to determine the level of knowledge and preventive disposition regarding Dengue in the residents of a Human Settlement (AAHH) located in the district ofSan Juan Bautista - Iquitos, during the year 2023. From the point of view From amethodological point of view, a quantitative approach was implemented with a descriptive, cross-sectional, prospective and correlational design. The interview was carried out with 185 individuals, belonging to the age groups of adolescentsand adults of both genders, residing in the AAHH Manco Inca in the district of San Juan Bautista. A questionnaire composed of 10 questions was used to evaluate the degree of knowledge about Dengue, and a Likert-type questionnaire with 10 premises to evaluate the preventive disposition of the inhabitants. The results revealed that 53% of the inhabitants exhibit appropriate knowledge about Dengue, presenting a significant association with adult residents (67.1%), of thefemale gender (55%), those with access to water supply through the home network.
