Abstract
La investigación intitulada “Gestión y manejo de residuos sólidos hospitalarios del Servicio de Emergencias, Hospital Regional de Loreto “Felipe S. Arriola Iglesias”, distrito de Punchana, región Loreto 2019”, nos has expuesto a comprender la Norma Técnica de salud, el objetivo principal, mejorar la calidad de los servicios que brindan el personal del establecimientos de salud y los servicios médicos de apoyo públicos y privados, mediante la implementación de un sistema de gestión y manejo de residuos sólidos adecuado, a fin de minimizar y controlar los riesgos sanitarios y ocupacionales , así como el impacto en la salud pública y en el ambiente. El objetivo fue evaluar los mecanismos de gestión y manejo de los residuos sólidos hospitalarios del Servicio de Emergencia, Hospital Regional de Loreto Felipe S. Arriola Iglesias, región Loreto 2019. La investigación se configura en un diseño no experimental de tipo descriptivo transversal. La población fue conformada por el personal del establecimiento de Salud y servicio Médico de Apoyo. La muestra fue conformada por el servicio de emergencia. La técnica fue empleada para la recolección de datos, consistió en la aplicación de una lista de verificación (check list) sobre de gestión, el manejo de etapas y el registro diario de generación de los RSH, que nos permitió verificar y conocer la situación problemática en forma directa e indirecta. El procesamiento de la información se efectuó en forma descriptiva. El análisis e interpretación de la información se realizó a través de la comparación de los parámetros estadísticos. Se utilizaron los recursos del paquete estadístico Excel MS. Lo resultados indica en una Deficiente política de gestión de los RSH, por el personal de establecimiento de Salud y servicio Médico de Apoyo. En la lista de verificación para el manejo de las etapas: lista N°1, Deficiente; lista N°2, Aceptable y Lista N°3 Aceptable. En la evaluación de cantidad de residuos Biocontaminados con un promedio de porcentaje de 47.15%, los residuos Comunes con un promedio de 52.85% y residuos Especiales no registra generación. En conclusión, el servicio de Emergencia cumple con los requisitos mínimos para una adecuada gestión y manejo de los RSH. Los residuos biocontaminados y comunes, cuenta con el mayor índice de generación de residuos, por la demanda de atención a los pacientes en el servicio de Emergencia del Hospital Regional de Loreto.
The research entitled Management and handling of hospital solid waste of the Emergency Service, Regional Hospital of Loreto, Felipe S. Arriola Iglesias", district of Punchana, region Loreto 2019"; you have exposed us to understand the Technical Norm of health, the main objective, to improve the quality of the services that the health establishments and the medical support services public and private provide, by means of the implementation of a system of management and handling of solid residues adapted, in order to minimize and to control the sanitary and occupational risks in these institutions, as well as the impact in the public health and in the environment. The objective was to evaluate the mechanisms for the management and handling of hospital solid waste at the Emergency Service, Loreto Felipe S. Arriola Iglesias Regional Hospital, Loreto 2019 region. The research is configured in a non-experimental design of a descriptive transversal type. The population was made up of the staff of the Health and Medical Support Service establishment. The sample was put together by the emergency service. The technique was used for data collection, and consisted of the application of a management checklist, the management of stages and the daily record of the generation of the HRH, health facility and Medical Support Service, which allowed us to verify and know the problematic situation in a direct and indirect way. The information was processed in a descriptive manner on the basis of the data obtained. The analysis and interpretation of the information was done through the comparison of statistical parameters. The resources of the Excel MS statistical package were used. The results indicate a deficient policy of management of HRH, by the personnel of the Health establishment and Medical Support Service. In the checklist for the handling of the stages: list N°1, Deficient; list N°2, Acceptable and list N°3, Acceptable. In the evaluation of the amount of biocontaminated waste with an average percentage of 47. 15%, the Common waste with an average of 52. 85% and Special waste do not register generation. In conclusion, the Emergency Service meets the minimum requirements for proper management and handling of the HRW. The staff of the health facility and medical support service are exposed to accidents and infectious diseases, because they lack knowledge of policy management and poor management of HRH. Biocontaminated and xiv common waste has the highest rate of waste generation, due to the demand for patient care at the Emergency Service of the Regional Hospital of Loreto.
