Abstract
respectivamente.
This research carried out in the city of Tarapoto, province of San Martin - Peru, 2021, deals with the influence of the plasticizer additive Sika CEM for this purpose, a concrete mix for a compressive strength of f'c=210 kg/cm2 corresponding to the standard design was prepared with aggregates marketed in the city of Tarapoto; and three types of mixes were designed for the experiment using Sika CEM admixture dosed at 0.50%, 1.00% and 1.50% by weight of the amount of cement involved. Eight specimens were made for each experimental group, being tested to compression at seven (7) and twenty-eight (28) days of curing. From the evaluation of the results, it is affirmed that; the addition of the plasticizer additive Sika CEM at 7 days increased its resistance compared to the same age with the standard concrete, in the three experimental dosages by 27.31%, 36.78% and 46.40%, respectively; likewise, at 28 days an increase of 14. 89%, 22.73% and 28.46%, respectively; concluding in light of these results, that the plasticizer Sika CEM increases the compressive strength at 7 and 28 days in all percentages of addition, being the percentage of 1.50% by weight of cement the dosage that produced the greatest increase in the experiment. However, the cost for the use of the admixture in question increases the cost of concrete production by 6.31% to 19% depending on the dosage ranging from 0.50% to 1.50% by weight of cement, respectively.
