Abstract
El objetivo principal fue determinar los factores sociodemograficos y la
capacidad de autocuidado de pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo 2 en
dos Centros de Salud distrito de Belén, 2022.
Metodología: Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo no experimental, de diseño
transversal, prospectivo y correlacional con una muestra de 148 pacientes
con diabetes mellitus tipo 2. La técnica empleada la encuesta y como
instrumento el cuestionario con 06 ítems para los factores
sociodemograficos y el segundo para medir la capacidad de autocuidado
aplicando la escala de Likert.
Resultados: El 83% de los pacientes poseen nivel bueno de autocuidado.
Conclusiones: Los pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo 2 de dos
establecimientos de salud del distrito de Belén presentaron una capacidad
buena de autocuidado y están relacionados significativamente con la edad
y el sexo.
