Abstract

Feedback can come from professionals or peers and can take various forms, such as informal or formal, written or oral, summative or formative. However, it is essential that such feedback provides students with specific guidance to improve their performance. Feedback should be positive, non-threatening, and tactful. Throughout the entire procedure, the teacher providing feedback has to maintain a calm and professional attitude. While negative feedback is beneficial and necessary, it should be communicated privately.
