Abstract
En esta tesis se investiga el comportamiento que tiene el suelo con la
adición de los aditivos PROES y TERRASIL para la estabilización de
suelos. Inicialmente se trabajó con porcentajes graduales de los aditivos obteniendo comportamientos diferentes, el PROES como aditivo tiene
mejor comportamiento en dar un buen resultado de CBR en su 95% y
su 100%, en cambio el TERRASIL tiene a variar en cuanto más se
adiciona el aditivo. Esto llega a un resultado positivo en su mayoría,
pero se opta por trabajar con el aditivo PROES.
La investigación concluye que existe viabilidad técnica y económica
para el uso de los aditivos en suelos arcillosos y en pavimentos o
mejoramientos de trochas carrozables ya que ayuda en elevar o mejorar
el CBR de los suelos en las cuales se pretende trabajar permitiendo en
esto dar más opción de estabilizantes , esta investigación se determina
por porcentajes de adición de aditivos en los suelos que se quiera
trabajar.
This thesis investigates the behavior of soil with the addition of PROES and TERRASIL additives for soil stabilization. Initially, the work was done with gradual percentages of the additives obtaining different behaviors, the PROES as an additive has better performance in giving a good result of CBR in its 95% and its 100%, on the other hand, TERRASIL has to vary the more the additive is added . This comes to a mostly positive result, but it is decided to work with the PROES additive. The research concludes that there is technical and economic feasibility for the use of additives in clay soils and in pavements or improvements of carriageways since it helps to raise or lower the CBR of the soils in which it is intended to work, allowing in this to give more option of stabilizers, this investigation is determined by percentages of addition of additives in the soils to be worked.
