Abstract

Results: After quantifying the Anti-toxoplasma of 241 patients who attended Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud from January to December 2019, 205 (85.06%) were patients with positive anti-toxoplasma, the most frequent age range was 31 to 40 years of age with 25.31%, according to sex 26 (10.79%) were men and 179 (74.27%) were women, according to the origin of the 205 (85.06%), a higher frequency was observed with 126 positive cases that represents 52.28% of origin urban area and less frequently in rural area with 30 positive cases that represents 12.45%. Conclusions: The analysis of anti toxoplasma Ig M and Ig G through chemiluminescence with a diagnostic specificity, in our research there is a high prevalence of toxoplasmosis with 85.06% of positive patients.
