Abstract
En esta investigación del tipo descriptiva, se presentan conceptos, técnicas, procesos, elementos de diagnóstico, tecnologías y criterios sobre la degradación y sus causas, el mantenimiento de edificaciones e intervención en una infraestructura educativa declarada monumento e integrante del Patrimonio Cultural de la Nación. El desgaste de materialidad en el objeto de estudio, ha sido consecuencia de varios factores, entre éstos la antigüedad de su edificación, estructuración deficiente, inexistencia o defectuosos procesos de mantenimiento, los cuales han influido en la actual condición de inhabitabilidad por deficiente comportamiento estructural.
En la investigación se efectuó el diagnóstico de la vibración, debida a la actividad humana de caminar en los sistemas de entrepiso, estructurado usando trabes de rieles separados 0.72m apoyados directamente sobre muros de ladrillo tubular, dovelas de ladrillo común apoyados en los rieles y losa de 0.05m de espesor sin refuerzo de acero. La intervención para resolver la patología, requirió colocar un pórtico metálico transversalmente en el centro de la luz de las trabes o su arriostre utilizando platinas soldadas entre trabe y trabe. Asimismo, se estudió la incidencia de la profundidad de carbonatación en la degradación de la resistencia del concreto cemento-arena, y, el fenómeno de corrosión de las trabes de la estructura de pisos. La profundidad de carbonatación se determinó mediante el test de fenolftaleína. Al tratarse de la perennidad de un monumento, como parte de la intervención, ante las deflexiones y vibraciones del caminar se concluye en la necesidad de su Consolidación Estructural, previamente a la formulación y ejecución del Plan de Conservación y Mantenimiento que garantice alargar su vida útil, dentro de la seguridad y el menor costo.
In this descriptive research, concepts, techniques, processes, diagnostic elements, technologies and criteria on degradation and its causes, maintenance of buildings and intervention in an educational infrastructure declare dan integral monument of the nation’s cultural heritage are presented. The wear of materiality in the object of study, has been a consequence of several factors, including the age of its building, deficient structure, non-existence or defective maintenance processes, which have influenced the current condition of uninhabitability due to deficient structural behavior. In the investigation, the diagnosis of vibration was made, due to human activity of walking in the mezzanine systems, estructured using rail beams 0.72m apart supported directly on tubular brick walls, common brick voussoirs supported on the rails and slab 0.05 m thick without Steel reinforcement. The intervention to resolve the pathology required placing a metal frame transversely in the center of the girder span or its bracing using plates welded between the girder. Likewise, the incidence of the depth of carbonation in the degradation of the resistance of concrete, cement, sand, and the phenomenon of corrosión of the beams of the floor structure was studied. The depth of carbonation was determined using the phenolphthalein test. When dealing with the permanence of a monument, as part of the intervention, before the deflections and vibrations of walking, the need for its Structural Consolidation prior to the formulation and Excecution of the Conservation and Maintenance plan is concluded that guarantees to extend its useful life, within safety and at lower cost.
