Abstract
El presente estudio estuvo orientado a resolver el siguiente problema
de investigación: ¿Cuáles son las causas de diferimiento en postulantes a
donantes de sangre en la UPS de Hemoterapia y Banco de Sangre Hospital
III Iquitos EsSalud del 2020?
El objetivo de Investigación fue: Determinar las causas de diferimiento
en postulantes a donantes de sangre en la UPS de Hemoterapia y Banco
de Sangre Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud del 2020.
Material y métodos: La presente investigación es de tipo
cuantitativo y retrospectivo, con diseño no experimental, descriptivo. Se
trabajó con una muestra de 3541 postulantes a donantes de sangre. Para
el análisis de la información se utilizó el paquete estadístico de SPSS V.25.
Resultados: La frecuencia de postulantes a donación de sangre
durante el 2020, de ellos 953 (26.91%) de los postulantes fueron referidos
(no aptos). De los 953 postulantes diferidos el más frecuente fue por haber
tenido recienteme covid -19, con 102 (10.70%), según el sexo el masculino
fue 568 (59.60%), según el rango de edad fue de 28 – 39 años con 302
(31.69%), según procedencia fue la urbana con 385 (40.40%).
Conclusiones: La seleccíón de donantes es el paso más importante
para garantizar la suficiencia y la seguridad sanguínea en la cual se intenta
identificar elementos de la historia clínica, el comportamiento o los eventos
que ponen a una persona en riesgo de adquirir una enfermedad
transmisible.
The present study was oriented to solve the following research problem: What are the causes of deferral in applicants for blood donors in the UPS of Hemotherapy and Blood Bank Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud of 2020? The objective of the Research was: Determine the causes of deferral in applicants for blood donors in the UPS of Hemotherapy and Blood Bank Hospital III Iquitos EsSalud in 2020. Material and methods: This research is quantitative and retrospective, with a non-experimental, descriptive design. We worked with a sample of 3541 applicants for blood donors. For the analysis of the information, the statistical package of SPSS V.25 was used Results: The frequency of applicants for blood donation during 2020, of which 953 (26.91%) of the applicants were referred (unfit). Of the 953 deferred applicants, the most frequent was for having recently had covid - 19, with 102 (10.70%), according to sex, the male was 568 (59.60%), according to the age range it was 28-39 years with 302 ( 31.69%), according to origin was urban with 385 (40.40%). Conclusions: Donor selection is the most important step in ensuring blood sufficiency and safety in which attempts are made to identify elements of medical history, behavior, or events that put a person at risk of acquiring a communicable disease.
