Comportamiento del Mercado del Servicio Eléctrico, Región San Martin, Periodo 2018 – 2020

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo estudiar el comportamiento de la oferta y demanda del mercado de servicio eléctrico de la región San Martin, comparativamente con el contexto nacional, periodo 2018-2020. Su metodología fue no experimental, de tipo retrospectiva, revisión de la información histórica del sector eléctrico de la región San Martin. Los resultados demuestran que en la región San Martin el consumo de cantidad de energía se ha reducido, la facturación (millones US$), creció en el año 2019, y tuvo una ligera reducción en el 2020. La región San Martin tiene una pequeña participación en el consumo de energía eléctrica referente al consumo del país, 1,24% en el 2018, y 1,21% en el 2020. Respecto a la cantidad de clientes, estas se encuentran altamente concentradas en el grupo residencial, el 90.04% en el año 2018, y el 87.58% en el 2020. El sector comercial y servicios está teniendo un crecimiento significativo, 18,601 clientes en el año 2018, creció a 25,117 clientes en el año 2020.
