Abstract

Miedo al covid-19 en personal de salud del hospital regional de Loreto utilizando la escala de miedo (al covid-19) fcv-19s- Iquitos 2022. Con el Objetivo de estudiar el miedo al COVID-19 en personal de Salud del Hospital Regional de Loreto durante el brote de dicha enfermedad se incorpora 100 profesionales de la salud al presente estudio. Metodología: Es una investigación descriptiva, observacional y retrospectiva. Se utilizó la Escala de Miedo al COVID-19 (FCV-19S). Resultados: Media de edad de los participantes 35.68 años, el 70% mujeres. El grupo profesional mas estudiado fueron enfermeras (40%), técnicos de enfermería (34%) y médicos (15%). En relación a los ítems que evalúa la escala utilizada, el 33% del personal de salud aseveró tener miedo al coronavirus (COVID-19), el 36% miedo a perder la vida por coronavirus (COVID-19). El 23% se incomoda al pensar en el coronavirus. Esta misma cifra se pone nervioso cuando lee sobre coronavirus en medios sociales. Al 19% se le acelera el corazón cuando piensa en la posibilidad de contagiarse de COVID-19. El 15% no puede dormir al pensar en la posibilidad de contagiarse. Al 10% le transpiran las manos al pensar en coronavirus. Conclusión: La intensidad del miedo al COVID-19 en personal de salud es leve a moderado. Recomendación: proponemos soporte psicológico para que el personal de salud maneje mejor el miedo que pueda sentir al afrontar enfermedades desconocidas.
With the objective of studying the fear of COVID-19 in health personnel of the Regional Hospital of Loreto during the outbreak of said disease, 100 health professionals were incorporated into the present study. Methodology: It is a descriptive, observational and retrospective research. The Fear of COVID-19 Scale (FCV-19S) was used. Results: Mean age of the participants 35.68 years, 70% women. The most studied professional group were nurses (40%), nursing technicians (34%) and doctors (15%). In relation to the items evaluated by the scale used, 33% of the health personnel claimed to be afraid of the coronavirus (COVID-19), 36% fear of losing their lives due to coronavirus (COVID-19). 23% are uncomfortable thinking about the coronavirus. This same figure gets nervous when reading about coronavirus on social media. 19% have their hearts racing when they think about the possibility of getting COVID-19. 15% cannot sleep when thinking about the possibility of getting infected. 10% of them sweat their hands when thinking about coronavirus. Conclusion: the intensity of fear of COVID-19 in health personnel is mild to moderate. Recommendation: we propose psychological support so that health personnel better manage the fear that they may feel when facing unknown diseases.
