Prevalencia de enteroparasitos, en pacientes atendidos en el servicio de parasitología, del hospital regional de Loreto "Felipe Santiago Arriola Iglesias" desde julio a diciembre del 2022

Abstract
El objetivo de dicho trabajo, fue de encontrar la prevalencia de
enteroparásitos, en pacientes atendidos en el Hospital Regional Loreto
"Felipe Santiago Arriola Iglesias" de julio a diciembre del 2022.
El estudio fue transversal, prospectivo y descriptivo. Esta población
incluyo un total de 1204 recolecciones de heces, para realizar el examen
directo de heces. El instrumento para recolectar los datos fueron las
fichas de exámenes con los resultados y la técnica utilizada fue la
recolección de datos.
Los resultados hallados en nuestro estudio, según sexo, fue que el
45 % (546) fueron de sexo masculino y el 55% (658) fueron de sexo
femenino. El 13% (152) corresponde al grupo de “0 - 5 años”, el 7% (79)
corresponde al grupo de “6 - 10 años”, el 8 % (98) corresponde al grupo
de “11 - 18 años”, el 21% (251) corresponde al grupo de “19 - 29 años”, el
39% (466) corresponde al grupo de “30 - 59 años” y el 13% (158)
corresponde al grupo de “mayor a 60 años”.
En nuestro estudio se encontró una prevalencia, según género y
especie con mayor prevalencia, fue que el 7% (79) corresponde al Quiste
de Blastocystis hominis, 5% (57) corresponde a Quiste de Entamoeba
coli, el 4% (45) corresponde huevos de Ascaris lumbricoides.
The objective of this work was to find the prevalence of enteroparasites in patients treated at the Loreto Regional Hospital "Felipe Santiago Arriola Iglesias" from July to December 2022. The study was cross-sectional, prospective and descriptive. This population included a total of 1204 stool collections, to perform direct stool examination. The instrument to collect the data was the test sheets with the results and the technique used was data collection. The results found in our study, according to sex, were that 45% (546) were male and 55% (658) were female. 13% (152) correspond to the group of "0 - 5 years", 7% (79) correspond to the group of "6 - 10 years", 8% (98) correspond to the group of "11 - 18 years" , 21% (251) correspond to the group of "19 - 29 years", 39% (466) correspond to the group of "30 - 59 years" and 13% (158) correspond to the group of "over 60 years ”. In our study, a prevalence was found, according to the genus and species with the highest prevalence, it was that 7% (79) corresponds to the Blastocystis hominis cyst, 5% (57) corresponds to Entamoeba coli cyst, 4% (45) corresponds to Ascaris lumbricoides eggs.
