Abstract
ASTM D – 4253 // NTP 339.137 y ASTM D – 4254 // NTP 339.138 (método “A”):
valor.
Relative density is a way to determine the degree of compactness (compaction) of a soil and can be used both for soils in their natural state and for artificially compacted fills. This is why the general problem of this research is to find the relationship between the Modified Proctor, CBR and Relative Density tests in usual granular soils used in the city of Iquitos, 2022. On the other hand, the main objective of the research is to correlate experimental and analytically some of the parameters that are directly linked to the resistance of granular soils and their compaction, developing tests such as: Modified Proctor, CBR and Relative Density. In this research thesis, various tests were carried out, both in the field and in the laboratory, which will provide the basis for this research. It should be noted that the main tests that will be a factor in the studies are that of Modified Proctor, C.B.R. (California Bearing Ratio) and the Relative Density. The maximum and minimum density ASTM D – 4253 // NTP 339.137 and ASTM D – 4254 // NTP 339.138 (method “A”) were determined: For the Astoria quarry in relation to the tests obtained, maximum and minimum density values were obtained 1.667, 1.697, 1.670, 1.715, 1.710 gr/cm3 and 1.376, 1.400, 1.382, 1.387, 1.362 gr/cm3, obtaining a relative density value of 90.08, 91.13, 92.79, 92.72, 91.40%, considering a condition of very dense relative compactness (see Table N° 17). And for the Irina Gabriela quarry, the maximum and minimum density values of 1.704, 1.781, 1.717, 1.860, 1.784 gr/cm3 and 1.470, 1.403, 1.498, 1.735, 1.513 gr/cm3 were obtained, obtaining a relative density value of 81.38, 82.59, 83.61, 82.55, 81.23%, considering a very dense relative compactness condition (see Table N° 16). Regarding the maximum and minimum densities, it can be noted that the values with the best density condition are found in the Irina Gabriela quarry, but in the relative density value a decrease in this value is noted.
