Diagnóstico del manejo de los residuos de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos en el distrito de nauta - loreto”. año 2023

Abstract

El proyecto tuvo como objetivo determinar la situación actual del manejo de los residuos de los aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos en el distrito de Nauta. La muestra de trabajo fueron 52 familias, quienes tienen residencia en la localidad denominada Junta Vecinal Sánchez Cerro. La investigación fue de nivel aplicada de tipo descriptivo, puesto que se analizó la problemática del manejo de los residuos de los aparatos electrónicos y eléctricos en el distrito de Nauta, provincia de Loreto. El diseño de investigación fue no experimental, es decir, se trata de estudios en los que no hacemos variar en forma intencional las variables independientes para ver su efecto sobre otras variables. Los resultados muestran que del total de encuestados 37 personas (71%) entregan al recolector; 10 personas (19%) no sabe dónde botar y 5 de ellos (10%) lo desechan a través del reciclador. Es importante mencionar que a la pregunta realizada a los encuestados sobre si conoce alguna razón por la que los componentes o equipos electrónicos deberían desecharse en forma diferente con respecto a otros desechos, 40 de ellos (77%) desconoce; mientras que 12 (23%) si conocen la razón por la que los RAEE deberían desecharse en forma diferente a otros residuos. Así mismo a la pregunta si los RAEE afectan al medio ambiente, 43 de ellos (83%) mencionan que si afecta al medio ambiente; y sólo 9 (17%) creen que no afecta al medio ambiente. En referencia a quien cree que es responsable del manejo de los RAEE, 38 personas (73%) cree que es responsabilidad de la municipalidad de Nauta; 7 de ellos (13%) cree que son de los clientes; 3 personas (6%) cree que son las empresas distribuidoras e importadoras de estos equipos. Por último, el 100% de las viviendas y/o familias encuestadas manifiestan no conocer ningún plan o propuesta para el manejo de los RAEE, y además mencionan nunca haber participado en campañas de acopio de residuos electrónicos por parte de la municipalidad u otra institución.

The project aimed to determine the current situation of waste management of electrical and electronic devices in the Nauta district. The work sample was 52 homes/families, who reside in the town called Junta Vecinal Sánchez Cerro. The research was of an applied level of a descriptive type, since the problem of managing waste from electronic and electrical devices in the district of Nauta, province of Loreto, was analyzed. The research design was non-experimental, that is, these are studies in which we do not intentionally vary the independent variables to see their effect on other variables. The results show that of the total number of respondents, 37 people (71%) deliver to the collector; 10 people (19%) do not know where to throw it away and 5 of them (10%) dispose of it through the recycler. It is important to mention that when asked to the respondents about whether they know any reason why electronic components or equipment should be disposed of differently compared to other waste, 40 of them (77%) do not know; while 12 (23%) do know the reason why WEEE should be disposed of differently from other waste. Likewise, when asked if WEEE affects the environment, 43 of them (83%) mention that it does affect the environment; and only 9 (17%) believe that it does not affect the environment. In reference to who believes that they are responsible for the management of WEEE, 38 people (73%) believe that it is the responsibility of the municipality of Nauta; 7 of them (13%) believe they are from clients; 3 people (6%) believe that they are the distribution and importing companies of this equipment. Finally, 100% of the households and/or families surveyed state that they are not aware of any plan or proposal for the management of WEEE, and they also mention that they have never participated in electronic waste collection campaigns by the municipality or another institution.
