Abstract
Objetivo. Determinar los factores relacionados al inicio tardío de la atención prenatal en gestantes atendidas en la IPRESS I-3 San Antonio de Iquitos de agosto a noviembre 2024.
Metodología. Estudio de tipo cuantitativo, de diseño, descriptivo, transversal y prospectivo. La muestra conformada por 30 gestantes.
Resultado. En el estudio el 34,4% de gestantes atendidas en la IPRESS San Antonio iniciaron tardíamente su atención prenatal. En los factores sociodemográficos prevaleció las gestantes de 20 a 34 años 43,3% (13), de secundaria incompleta 40,0% (12), distancia a la IPRESS menos de 15 minutos 66,7% (20), ama de casa 66,7% (20) y solteras 53,3 (16). En los factores obstétricos prevaleció gestantes primíparas 46,7% (14), periodo intergenésico adecuado 66,7% (20) y no planificaron su embarazo 53,3% (16). En los factores institucionales prevaleció un ambiente adecuado 100,0% (30), tiempo de espera para ser atendidas de 30 minutos 80,0% (24), no hicieron cola para la cita 70,0% (21) y tuvieron buen trato 96,7% (29).
Conclusión. Los factores sociodemográficos y obstétricos influyen en el inicio tardío de la atención prenatal en gestantes atendidas en la IPRESS I-3 San Antonio de Iquitos de agosto a noviembre 2024.

In obstetric factors, primiparous pregnant women prevailed in 46.7% (14), adequate interpregnancy period in 66.7% (20), and 53.3% (16) did not plan their pregnancy. In the institutional factors, an adequate environment prevailed 100.0% (30), waiting time to be attended to was 30 minutes 80.0% (24), they did not queue for the appointment 70.0% (21) and they were treated well 96.7% (29).
