Abstract
En esta investigación, la metodología utilizada fue cuantitativa, diseño descriptivo, observacional, prospectivo-correccional y transversal; con el objetivo de determinar la influencia de la relación del nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal en la higiene oral de gestantes atendidas en el hospital Santa Gema II-2 de Yurimaguas. Alto Amazonas 2024.
Resultados: Se encontró que, predominaron las gestantes con edades de 26 a 35 años con 46,2% la instrucción secundaria fue mayoría con 55,1% el buen nivel de conocimiento en salud bucal con 64,6% y el grado de higiene bucal fue bueno con 62%. La mayoría de gestantes presentaron buen nivel de conocimientos en salud bucal a las respuestas del cuestionario y la minoría de ellas tuvo un mal nivel de conocimiento en salud bucal.
La Relación del nivel de conocimiento en salud bucal y el Índice de higiene oral en gestantes fue: las que tuvieron buen nivel de conocimiento, tenían buena higiene oral (70.4%), regular (27.6%) y mala (2%). Concluyendo que, el nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal si influye en el grado de higiene oral de las gestantes atendidas en el Hospital Santa Gema II-2 de Yurimaguas-Alto Amazonas 2024.
In this study, the methodology used was quantitative, with a descriptive, observational, prospective-correctional, and cross-sectional design. The objective was to determine the influence of the relationship between the level of oral health knowledge and oral hygiene among pregnant women treated at the Santa Gema II-2 Hospital in Yurimaguas, Alto Amazonas, 2024.
