Abstract
Introducción: El conocer el conocimiento y la actitud sobre la SSR conlleva a
establecer estrategias de políticas públicas, o modelos educacionales que
reducirán el embarazo precoz, las ITS, empoderamiento del adolescente,
modificación del comportamiento sexual
Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud
sobre la salud sexual y reproductiva de los adolescentes de 15 a 18 años de
San Juan Bautista 2024
Metodología: Estudio de tipo cuantitativo, de diseño descriptivo, de corte
transversal, prospectivo y correlacional; entrevistando a 222 adolescentes
entre los 15 a 18 años, de ambos sexos, 101 de Bello Horizonte y 121 de San
Pablo de la Luz; aplicando dos cuestionarios validados de conocimiento y de
actitud sobre la SSR.
Resultados: El 45.5% con buen nivel de conocimiento sobre la SSR, el 30.6%
con regular nivel y el 23.9% con mal de conocimiento, la dimensión con mayor
buen nivel de conocimiento fue sobre las ITS (60.4%) seguido de embarazo
en adolescentes (59.0%), MAC (39.6%), anatomía y fisiología (37.8%) y
conceptos básicos sobre la SSR (31.3%)
El 49.1% tiene una actitud favorable, el 23.9% actitud indiferente y el 27.0%
una actitud desfavorable sobre la SSR
Conclusión: El buen nivel de conocimiento sobre la SSR se asocia
significativamente a una actitud favorable sobre la SSR (p=0.004)
Introduction: Knowing the knowledge and attitude about SRH leads to establishing public policy strategies, or educational models that will reduce early pregnancy, STIs, adolescent empowerment, and modification of sexual behavior. Objective: Determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude regarding sexual and reproductive health of adolescents between 15 and 18 years of age in San Juan Bautista 2024. Methodology: Quantitative study, descriptive, cross-sectional, prospective and correlational design; interviewing 222 adolescents between 15 and 18 years old, of both sexes, 101 from Bello Horizonte and 121 from San Pablo de la Luz; applying two validated knowledge and attitude questionnaires about SRH. Results: 45.5% with a good level of knowledge about SRH, 30.6% with a fair level and 23.9% with poor knowledge, the dimension with the highest good level of knowledge was about STIs (60.4%) followed by pregnancy in adolescents (59.0%), MAC (39.6%), anatomy and physiology (37.8%) and basic concepts of SRH (31.3%) 49.1% have a favorable attitude, 23.9% have an indifferent attitude and 27.0% have an unfavorable attitude about SRH. Conclusion: A good level of knowledge about SRH is significantly associated with a favorable attitude about SRH (p=0.004).
