Nivel de ansiedad frente a la atención odontológica en pacientes adultos en un establecimiento de salud del minsa, Lima - 2024

Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general determinar el nivel de ansiedad frente a la atención odontológica en pacientes adultos en un establecimiento de salud del MINSA, Lima – 2024.
La muestra estará conformada por 300 pacientes adultos que pasan por el consultorio de odontología del Centro Materno Infantil José Carlos Mariátegui en Villa María del Triunfo.
Los resultados arrojaron que el 50% de pacientes presentó ansiedad leve, el 35% ansiedad moderada, el 7,7% ansiedad elevada y el 7,3% ansiedad severa. El grupo etario de 18 a 29 años presentó mayor porcentaje de ansiedad elevada y ansiedad severa en un 8,3% respectivamente. El sexo masculino presentó un 61,5% de ansiedad leve y en menor porcentaje ansiedad elevada en un 2,0%. En el sexo femenino, el 43,9% presentó ansiedad leve y en menor porcentaje ansiedad severa en un 9,2%.
The sample will be made up of 300 adult patients who visit the dentistry office of the José Carlos Mariátegui Maternal and Child Center in Villa María del Triunfo. The results showed that 50% of patients presented mild anxiety, 35% moderate anxiety, 7,7% high anxiety and 7,3% severe anxiety. The age group of 18 to 29 years presented a higher percentage of high anxiety and severe anxiety at 8,3% respectively. The male sex presented 61,5% of mild anxiety and a lower percentage of high anxiety in 2,0%. In females, 43,9% presented mild anxiety and, to a lesser extent, severe anxiety in 9,2%. It is concluded that there are significant differences in the level of anxiety regarding dental care in adult patients at a MINSA health facility, Lima 2024; being more prevalent in the group of patients with mild anxiety.
