Abstract
Judicial notifications via WhatsApp, currently used in food processes, could be extended to other civil areas to improve procedural efficiency. The problem of the study is whether WhatsApp notifications, which are being carried out in food processes, could be implemented in other processes. The main objective is: To determine whether WhatsApp notifications, which are being carried out in food processes, could be implemented in other processes. The general hypothesis is: The implementation of electronic notifications through instant messaging applications like WhatsApp in civil processes, in addition to food processes, can improve efficiency and effectiveness in communication and notification of parties. The methodology is quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental, and cross-sectional, using variables such as "judicial notifications" and "social networks", operationalized through Likert scales. The study applied the Chi-square test. Preliminary results support the effectiveness of ICT in justice, although they highlight the need for regulation to avoid vulnerabilities. The research concludes that WhatsApp notifications are beneficial for streamlining judicial processes.
