Abstract
El presente estudio tuvo por objetivo determinar la relación de la
prevalencia de disfunción temporomandibular con los factores de riesgos
en personal militar – Iquitos – 2025.
El tipo de investigación fue prospectivo; cuantitativo, descriptivo,
transversal y correlacional. El diseño de la investigación fue no
experimental.
La muestra estuvo conformada por 130 soldados del FM “SAVG” de la
ciudad de Iquitos.270 niños. Los resultados muestran que el 56,9%
presentan DTM leve, 32,3% no presentó DTM, y el 10,8% presentó DTM
moderado.
Asimismo el grupo etario de 18 a 29 años el 57,9% presentó leve DTM y el
10,3% presentó moderado DTM. El grupo etario de 30 a 50 años el 50% no
presentó DTM y el 25% presentó leve DTM y moderado DTM
respectivamente.
Se llega a la conclusión que existe relación significativa de la prevalencia
de disfunción temporomandibular con los factores de riesgos en el personal
militar.
The present study aimed to determine the relationship between the prevalence of temporomandibular dysfunction and risk factors in military personnel – Iquitos – 2025. The research was prospective; quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, and correlational. The research design was non-experimental. The sample consisted of 130 soldiers from the FM "SAVG" (United Nations Armed Forces of Venezuela) in the city of Iquitos, 270 of whom were children. The results show that 56.9% had mild TMD, 32.3% did not have TMD, and 10.8% had moderate TMD. Likewise, in the 18-29 age group, 57.9% had mild TMD, and 10.3% had moderate TMD. In the 30-50 age group, 50% did not have TMD, and 25% had mild and moderate TMD, respectively.
