Nivel de conocimiento en el manejo de traumatismos dentales en docentes y auxiliares del nivel inicial de una institución educativa pública de la ciudad de Iquitos - 2025

Abstract

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar diferencia del nivel de conocimiento en el manejo de traumatismos dentales en docentes y auxiliares del nivel inicial de una institución educativa pública de la ciudad de Iquitos – 2025. Se desarrolló un estudio de tipo prospectivo, cuantitativo, descriptivo, comparativo y transversal, en una muestra conformada en su totalidad por los 86 entre docentes y auxiliares de una I.E.I. pública de la ciudad de Iquitos. Los resultados evidenciaron que, el 55,8% presentó conocimiento en el nivel medio y el 34,9% presentó conocimiento bajo. Del total de docentes el 29,1% presentó conocimiento manejo de traumatismos dentales nivel medio, y del total de auxiliares el 26,7% presentó también conocimiento medio. Se concluye que no existen diferencias estadísticas significativas en el promedio del nivel de conocimiento en el manejo de traumatismos dentales de docentes y auxiliares de una institución educativa.This study aimed to determine the difference in the level of knowledge regarding the management of dental trauma among teachers and teaching assistants at the preschool level of a public educational institution in the city of Iquitos in 2025. A prospective, quantitative, descriptive, comparative, and cross-sectional study was conducted with a sample comprised of all 86 teachers and teaching assistants from a public preschool in the city of Iquitos. The results showed that 55.8% demonstrated intermediate knowledge, while 34.9% demonstrated low knowledge. Of the total number of teachers, 29.1% demonstrated intermediate knowledge of dental trauma management, and of the total number of teaching assistants, 26.7% also demonstrated intermediate knowledge. It is concluded that there are no statistically significant differences in the average level of knowledge regarding the management of dental trauma among teachers and teaching assistants at this educational institution.
