Abstract
The research aimed to analyze to what extent public investment by sector influenced the Loreto region during the 2021-2022 periods; it used a non-experimental descriptive methodology and examined statistical information from the region. However, there were notable advances in educational infrastructure, such as the increase in schools with basic services, from 7.2% to 15.5%, and internet access, which grew from 36.0% to 49.0%, strengthening the conditions for the modernization of the educational system. Infrastructure and basic services indicators showed improvements in access to fixed internet, from 32.5% to 38.3%, and in integrated electricity, water and sewage services, from 31.5% to 34.5%, along with a reduction in the average price of electricity, from 19.5% to 18.3%. In health, life expectancy at birth increased from 75 to 78 years and vaccination coverage rose from 50.2% to 54.1%; chronic malnutrition and anemia worsened, with increases from 23.6% to 26.3% and from 51.7% to 58%, respectively. In addition, coverage of medical personnel (10.9%) and institutional births (77.8%) remained unchanged, highlighting persistent challenges in health care and basic services.
