Abstract
The general objective of this research was to identify the influence of cultural heritage on inbound tourism in the city of Iquitos, in the year 2023; as well as to determine the importance of cultural heritage as a tourist attraction for visitors arriving to the city of Iquitos, to indicate the impact of cultural heritage on tourist satisfaction and to indicate how inbound tourism is in the city of Iquitos. The methodology applied was descriptive-correlational, non- experimental, transversal; with a representative sample of 132 tourists surveyed. It is concluded that according to Pearson's correlation (r = 0.145): it indicates a very weak positive correlation between the variables “Cultural Heritage” and “Inbound Tourism”. This means that, although there is a direct relationship between both variables, cultural heritage does not seem to have a strong or significant influence on inbound tourism according to this analysis. In other words, an increase in the positive perception of cultural heritage does not necessarily result in a substantial increase in inbound tourism. The significance (Sig. = 0.098), is greater than 0.05, indicating that the observed correlation is not statistically significant. This implies that it cannot be concluded with confidence that cultural heritage has a significant impact on inbound tourism, at least from the point of view of the data analyzed.
