Factores sociodemográficos y su relación con trastornos mentales en pacientes con VIH – Sida, Iquitos, 2024

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como finalidad determinar la relación entre los factores sociodemográficos y los trastornos mentales en pacientes con VIH - SIDA Loreto, 2024. Estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo, prospectivo analítico, diseño no experimental transversal, población conformada por 135 pacientes, siendo la muestra 100. Utilizó la técnica encuesta, el instrumento cuestionario sociodemográfico y el cuestionario de trastornos mentales SRQ – 18. La información fue analizada por el software SPSS v25., siendo los resultados los siguientes: el trastorno mental, dimensión ansiedad, alto en 62%; bajo 38%. Depresión, alto en 69%; bajo en 31%. Trastorno psicótico, alto 66%; bajo 34%; Trastorno convulsivo, alto 93%; bajo 7%. Problemas con el consumo de alcohol, alto 87%; bajo 13%. Concluyó: Los factores sociodemográficos sexo, estado civil y grado de instrucción se relacionan con la ansiedad y el sexo se relaciona con el consumo de alcohol (p<0,05).The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between sociodemographic factors and mental disorders in patients with HIV-AIDS Loreto, 2024. Quantitative, descriptive, prospective analytical study, non-experimental cross-sectional design, population of 135 patients, being the sample 100 only. It used the survey technique, the sociodemographic questionnaire instrument and the questionnaire of mental disorders SQR - 18. The information was analyzed by SPSS v25 software, with the following results: mental disorder, anxiety dimension, high in 62%; low in 38%. Depression, high 69%; low 31%. Psychotic disorder, high 66%; low 34%; Seizure disorder, high 93%; low 7%. Alcohol use problems, high 87%; low 13%. Concluded: Sociodemographic factors sex, marital status and educational level were related to anxiety and sex was related to alcohol consumption (p<0.05).
