Abstract
La investigación tuvo como finalidad determinar la relación entre la ansiedad y la depresión en alumnos del 4to y 5to grado de educación secundaria en una institución educativa en la ciudad de Caballococha 2024.
Estudio cuantitativo, básico descriptivo correlacional, prospectivo, analítico, diseño no experimental transversal, probación conformada por 243 alumnos, utilizó un muestreo aleatorio estratificado siendo la muestra 149 alumnos, técnica la encuesta, instrumentos escala de ansiedad y depresión de Zung.
Se analizó la información mediante el software SPSS v25., consiguiendo los resultados siguientes: variable ansiedad, el 49,7% tuvo nivel de ansiedad moderada, no tuvieron ansiedad 47,6%; ansiedad severa el 2,7%. Variable depresión: fue moderada en 63,3%; no tuvieron depresión en 35,4%; con nivel severo en 1,4%. Concluye: evidencia relación entre la ansiedad y depresión (X2= 56,147; gl= 4; p=0,000). evidencia relación entre la dimensión emocional de la ansiedad y la depresión (X2= 36,241; gl= 4; p=0,000). encontró relación entre la dimensión malestar físico de la ansiedad y la depresión (X2= 46,564; gl= 4; p=0,000).
The purpose of the research was to determine the relationship between anxiety and depression in 4th and 5th grade high school students in an educational institution in the city of Caballococha 2024. Quantitative study, basic descriptive correlational, prospective, analytical, non-experimental transversal design, probation conformed by 243 students, used a stratified random sampling being the sample 149 students, survey technique, instruments Zung's anxiety and depression scale.
