Abstract
El presente trabajo de suficiencia profesional tuvo como objetivo determinar las estrategias de afrontamiento al estrés en personal militar, San Juan Bautista, 2022. La metodología tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, descriptivo simple y transversal, la población y muestra estuvo conformada por 22 militares FAP de la base Santa Clara, la técnica usada fue la psicométrica y el instrumento el Cuestionario de Estilos de Afrontamiento COPE, en los resultados se encontró que la estrategia enfocada en el problema que con mayor frecuencia es la planificación de actividades con un 68,2%, indicando que el personal militar elabora un plan de acción para deshacerse del problema poniéndose a pensar más en los pasos a seguir para solucionar el problema; frente a la búsqueda de soporte social con el 59,1%, es decir, preguntan a personas que han tenido experiencias similares sobre lo que hicieron a fin de obtener consejos de otros para saber qué hacer con el problema. Respecto a la estrategia enfocada en la emoción, es la reinterpretación con un 90,0%, este porcentaje indica que el personal militar FAP Busco algo bueno de lo que está pasando, tratan de ver el problema en forma positiva, aprenden de la experiencia y tratan de desarrollarse como persona a consecuencia de la experiencia y en cuanto a la estrategia enfocada en estrategias adicionales es la distracción con un 68,2%, lo que sugiere que el personal militar FAP realiza otras actividades para alejar el problema de su mente usando distractores como paseos o entretenimiento visuales como programas de televisión, actividades que le permites reducir el estrés y sobrellevar el problema.
The objective of this professional sufficiency work was to determine coping strategies for stress in military personnel, San Juan Bautista, 2022. The methodology had a quantitative, non-experimental, simple descriptive and cross-sectional approach, the population and sample consisted of 22 military personnel. FAP of the Santa Clara base, the technique used was the psychometric and the instrument was the COPE Coping Styles Questionnaire, in the results it was found that the strategy focused on the problem that most frequently is the planning of activities with a 68.2 %, indicating that military personnel develop an action plan to get rid of the problem by thinking more about the steps to follow to solve the problem; compared to the search for social support with 59.1%, that is, they ask people who have had similar experiences about what they did in order to obtain advice from others to know what to do with the problem. Regarding the strategy focused on emotion, it is the reinterpretation with 90.0%, this percentage indicates that the FAP military personnel look for something good about what is happening, they try to see the problem in a positive way, they learn from the experience and they try to develop as a person as a result of the experience and in terms of the strategy focused on additional strategies is distraction with 68.2%, which suggests that FAP military personnel carry out other activities to take the problem away from their minds using distractors such as walks or visual entertainment such as television programs, activities that allow you to reduce stress and cope with the problem.
