Factores relacionados al inicio precoz de la vida sexual en adolescentes de dos instituciones educativas Iquitos 2024

Abstract

Objetivo. Determinar los factores relacionados al inicio precoz de la vida sexual en adolescentes de dos instituciones educativas Iquitos 2024 Metodología. Investigación de tipo cuantitativo, no experimental, descriptivo correlacional, corte transversal y prospectivo. La población 643 y la muestra 348 adolescentes. Resultado. Iniciaron precozmente su vida sexual 299 (77,8%) y de ellos 198 (66,3%) inició a la edad de 14 a 16 años. Factores individuales: El grupo de edad de mayor prevalencia corresponde a 16 años (66,9%); predominó el sexo femenino (55,1%) cuyo inicio de relaciones sexuales fue de 17 a 19 años; de procedencia urbana (58,2%) y el motivo que les llevó a tener su primera relación sexual fue por amor (48,5%) y de ellos 100 adolescentes (70,0%) iniciaron relaciones sexuales entre los 17 a 19 años. Factores educativos: 55,9% mencionan que siempre recibieron orientación e información sobre sexualidad; 66,8% consideran que es importante recibir orientación e información sobre el tema y el 44,6% obtuvieron conocimientos de los medios de comunicación. Factores familiares: 45,3% de los adolescentes viven con sus padres; 59,2% siempre tienen conflictos familiares y el 66,2% algunas veces conversan en su entorno familiar sobre temas de sexualidad. Factores socioculturales: 56,5% se dedican hacer deporte en sus tiempos libres; el 69,8% algunas veces consumen bebidas alcohólicas y el 62,8% nunca consumieron tabaco y drogas. Conclusión. El factor individual: sexo y procedencia se relaciona estadísticamente con el inicio precoz de la vida sexual p= 0,01 respectivamente.Objective. Educational factors: 55.9% mention that they always received guidance and information about sexuality; 66.8% consider that it is important to receive guidance and information on the subject and 44.6% obtained knowledge from the media. Family factors: 45.3% of adolescents live with their parents; 59.2% always have family conflicts and 66.2% sometimes talk in their family environment about sexuality issues. Sociocultural factors: 56.5% do sports in their free time; 69.8% sometimes consume alcoholic beverages and 62.8% never used tobacco or drugs. Conclusion. The individual factor: sex and origin is statistically related to the early onset of sexual life p= 0.01 respectively.
