Afrontamiento al estrés y su relación con la agresividad en mujeres víctimas de violencia de pareja en el centro poblado de Iberia - Requena, 2025

Abstract

El estudio se planteó como objetivo principal constatar la relación entre la agresividad y el manejo del estrés en mujeres objeto de violencia en el ámbito de pareja en el Centro Poblado de Iberia, Requena 2025. Como metas secundarias, se buscó identificar las características sociodemográficas de este grupo de mujeres y establecer cómo se relacionan las expresiones de agresividad en cuanto a violencia física y verbal, ira y hostilidad con el manejo del estrés. La muestra fue de 120 féminas objeto de violencia de pareja y que procedían de zonas cercanas a la ciudad de Iquitos. Se aplicó un muestreo no paramétrico por conveniencia y se aplicaron dos pruebas psicológicas a la muestra seleccionada, con el fin de evaluar las dos variables consideradas en el estudio: agresividad y manejo del estrés. Estas pruebas tenían validez y confiabilidad comprobadas. La investigación fue básica, con diseño no experimental, con enfoque cuantitativo y nivel descriptivo, aplicó un diseño correlacional. Los hallazgos revelaron correlaciones positivas y significativas entre la agresividad y el manejo del estrés, excepto en el ámbito de violencia física, donde no se halló relación entre estas variables. Así, se confirmaron y validaron casi todas las hipótesis planteadas, a excepción de la que se refería a la relación positiva y significativa entre la agresividad física y el manejo del estrés. Se elaboraron recomendaciones y sugerencias pertinentes basadas en los resultados obtenidos.

The primary purpose of this study was to identify the connection between aggression and stress management in women who have experienced intimate partner violence in the Iberia Population Center, Requena 2025. Secondary objectives were to identify the sociodemographic characteristics of this group of women and to determine how expressions of aggression, including physical and verbal violence, anger, and hostility, relate to stress management. The sample consisted of 120 female victims of intimate partner violence from areas near the city of Iquitos. Nonparametric convenience sampling was used, and two psychological tests were administered to the selected sample to assess the two variables considered in the study: aggression and stress management. These tests presented proven validation and reliability for the setting. The research was of a basic nature, with a non-experimental design, a quantitative approach, and a descriptive level, using a cross-sectional correlational design. The findings revealed a positive and significant correlation between the different forms of aggression and stress management, except in the area of physical violence, where no relationship was found between these variables. Thus, the proposed hypotheses were confirmed and validated, except for the one referring to the positive and significant relationship between physical aggression and stress management. Pertinent recommendations and suggestions were developed based on the results obtained.
