Conocimientos y actitudes sobre el control de crecimiento y desarrollo de las madres con niños menores de 5 años en la Ipress I-4 nauta, Loreto 2024

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio trata de la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y las actitudes de las madres sobre el control del crecimiento de sus niños menores de 5 años, teniendo su contexto en la IPRESS I-4 Nauta en Loreto en el año 2024. Para lograr el objetivo propuesto se utilizó un diseño de naturaleza cuantitativa, no experimental, descriptivo correlacional y de tipo prospectivo. Conformaron la muestra 150 madres que fueron a los controles de crecimiento y desarrollo en dicha institución. Como técnica de recolección de datos se utilizó una encuesta estructurada y posteriormente se utilizó un cuestionario previa aprobación del consentimiento informado de las participantes para determinar su conocimiento y actitud respecto al control de su desarrollo. La medición presentó un nivel de validez de 0.9183 que es aceptable en congruencia y un nivel de confiabilidad de 0.926 cuando es medido por el alfa de Cronbach. Según los resultados, el 16.7% de las madres prácticas de un alto nivel de conocimiento tuvieron una actitud cognitiva positiva respecto al Exención de Conocimiento en gran contraste con el 3.3% con actitud negativa. Entre las mujeres que poseían un nivel de conocimiento intermedio, el 8.7% fueron respuestas emocionales con afecto del 4.7%. En el grupo de las madres con conocimientos mínimos, el 4.0% tenían una actitud cognitiva negativa mientras que el 2.7% son personas que tienen actitudes cognitivas y comportamentales positivas. En otras palabras, hay una relación que es muy significativa (p=0.05) entre el conocimiento y las actitudes en este caso con un valor p de 0.0004 para las actitudes cognitivas y comportamentales y 0.0005 para las actitudes emocionales.

The objective of this study deals with the relationship between the level of knowledge and the attitudes of mothers about monitoring the growth of their children under 5 years of age, having its context in the IPRESS I-4 Nauta in Loreto in the year 2024. To achieve the proposed objective, a quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive correlational and prospective design was used. The sample consisted of 150 mothers who went to growth and development checks at said institution. A structured survey was used as a data collection technique and subsequently a questionnaire was used after approval of the informed consent of the participants to determine their knowledge and attitude regarding the control of their development. The measurement presented a validity level of 0.9183 which is acceptable in congruence and a reliability level of 0.926 when measured by Cronbach's alpha. According to the results, 16.7% of practical mothers with a high level of knowledge had a positive cognitive attitude towards Knowledge Exemption in great contrast to 3.3% with a negative attitude. Among the women who possessed an intermediate level of knowledge, 8.7% were emotional responses with 4.7% being affective. In the group of mothers with minimal knowledge, 4.0% had a negative cognitive attitude while 2.7% are people who have positive cognitive and behavioral attitudes. In other words, there is a relationship that is highly significant (p=0.05) between knowledge and attitudes in this case with a p-value of 0.0004 for cognitive and behavioral attitudes and 0.0005 for emotional attitudes.
